Candle Jar

Hello!

I hope you are well

I have another candle jar to show you which I made for a friend ... These are rather addictive and cost nothing really as I recycle my jars and just use scraps of things I have lying around

once again I used a piece of recycled canvas

To decorate on both front and back

A little charm and a Rubon, some lace and a flower

It's not necessary to have a lid but I always add one so that the jar can be used for other purposes or just to make it look pretty - plus the lid isn't wasted then

I've been busy the last few days preparing notebooks and cards for my Special Needs group to make tonight ... Fortunately I have a new friend Pat, who has been coming to help me at the club and has discovered a love of both creating and working with the group ... It's not for everyone I know but so worthwhile ...

Have a wonderful day and I'll be back soon

What a fab idea. Such a great use for all those jars. I could use up all my rub-ons too! Love the little Pearly top decoration too! x

A great idea! I must get into that once I return home. I think I might have gotten over my "creative block" here in Helsinki as the first thing I stumbled upon on my way from the train station to the hotel was a FABULOUS crafts store - possibly the best I've ever been in. Hope you had a good time with your Thursday club.

It's lovely. I am impressed by the way you repurposed this jar; you prettied it up and the look is chique and shabby. Just a jar turned into a gorgeous candle holder. Maybe you don't need a lid for a candle jar but I love how you decorated it.
Thinking of you; hope all is well. Sending a big hug!

Good to hear someone is helping you with your Thursday group. I know you love it but preparing is time consuming and I am so jhappy for you there is someone there to help you!
