Hello and good morning!
It's time for another challenge at City Crafter and this week I am your host
The theme is Paint It
The challenge to you is to
Make a card or project that includes a painted backgound
You can use any sort of medium, Paint, watercolour, mists, distress stains
As long as your background is "painted"
I had a little fun with some acrylic paint
and a glass tumbler
This was a card for a friend of mine who happens to be an artist and sculptor
I'm happy to say that she loved this random painting and framed my card!
Somedays it's just nice to get messy and see what turns out ... there's no mistakes in art I always say
This week at CCCB we have the talented Natalia guesting for us ... Be sure to click on the link and visit her blog ... she creates the most stunning projects
And don't forget to hop over to CCCB and see what the rest of the DT have in store for you ...
I do hope you'll get 'artsy' with us this week and join in the challenge ...
Have a great day!
Till soon

Beautiful sentiment and great background!!!
What a great result with your painty play! I love the rings and the sentiment looks so elegant at the forefront!
so pretty Ros! Love the fun background and the fabulous sentiment!
When I first saw your card I thought it was a stamped background, how brilliant that you used a glass. Lovely card, and I love the coordinating brad/button. Perfect words for an artist and I'm not surprised it has been framed.
Painting a background is always fun and I love the splashes of color. The design and sentiment are perfect. With a modern twist that I just love. Good to see your handmade gems again; I missed your blog...

Another card with great colors - and effects. Love how the large brad (if that's what it is) picks up the colors from your painting!
This is such a GREAT challenge and I ADORE your card with the paint, the big bold sentiment, and the Button! LOVE it!
So clever to make it like this, I thought it was a fancy stamp set! I can see why your friend framed it, I would have too. ~Diane
