I wonder if like me you have tons of it squirrelled away ... Well it was time to dig it out and make a little something with it
I used 3 chipboard pieces, a bird, a branch and a border cut in half
For the bird and branch I used distress stains to colours them and for the scalloped borders I just smooched them with a pearlescent Brilliance ink
There are so many ways to use your chipboard and to colour them ... We're hoping that you will join us at CCCB this week and share your beautiful creations ... Our guest Designer this week is the lovely Robyn ... be sure to check out her project along with those of my fellow DT.
Kirsty is also sponsoring a prize to our winner this week ... a Maya Road chipboard alphabet package
So get out your chipboard and get creative!
Have a beautiful Day!

Hi Ros, I love your style, so eye catching. I too have heaps 'squirreled' away all my pieces I've had for years..but maybe they'll get a bit more use from now on. Cheers and have a wonderful week Robyn

Wow! Love all the chipboard pieces! I especially love the pretty bird! It reminds me of the Sterling Jay we recently saw in Yosemite National Park. I'll have to post photos soon. And, I'll have to get out some chipboard I've been hoarding! Thank you for the inspiration!:)
Gorgeous! I love how you made the scallop with the border!
What a wonderful "chirpy" use of the chipboard....cute birdie and love those scallops!! I have a ton of it and never, ever use it...I just "have to" enter this challenge this week...I need more time!! Oh love that pretty flower, too!!!

Gorgeous Ros! That birdie is so sweet. I love the linen texture of your center panel. I hoard chipboard a lot too. Hugs!
You created something stunning; my oh my. I love what you did with that bird. The layers on top by using a border, cutting it and add a touc of ink is a fab idea. It is a gorgeous card and I love the little botanical scene you created.
