Almost September

Hello...

I can hardly believe it's almost September ... that means more birthdays on the horizon

I had a little time yesterday to make a couple of cards ...  Here's one of them

I have a ton of papers to use up so I thought I'd make a card that uses paper and acetate together with a couple of die cuts

I also got some new sequins ... pretty yellows and pinks amongst them

... in the hope they would lead me away from my usual blue and green shades

Thanks so much for your kind wishes ... I'm still not feeling 100% and my sweet friend Pat had a fall which left her with some cracked ribs so we haven't seen each other this week. Hopefully we are getting together tomorrow for some crafting ... I'll bake some buns and a cake just in case we decide to just sit and chat ...

Wishing you a beautiful weekend

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Hi Ros, what a simple lovely crisp cheerful card...love how you've raised the front panel and can see the pretty paper behind through the peek hole and the die cut word. You have special eye catching style Ros.

Owie! Hope Pat is one the mend soon. You take care of yourself and shoo those old ickies away. I really like the design of this card. I don't think I've ever used acetate. I love the look of it.

Pretty and happy colors, just has to make one smile it is so cheerful!! Love the pretty little sequins added, too!! I can relate to your friend, it took about 2 months or more for my ribs to heal and I still feel it every once in a while.I wish her and you the best. We are still having summer...hot and humid and lots of storms!!
