Hello and Good morning!
Our prompt this week at Our Beautiful World has been chosen by Kirsty
The word is Blue... Kind of how I'm feeling ... It's wet and dull
The bird table is abandoned ... even the spider's web is vacant
The terracotta pots are chipped and worn
and a single Blue pansy looks out at the remnants of summer
The Blue swing chair where Ginger cat and I spent our summer relaxing is looking forlorn
By complete contrast let me share with you a couple of my brother's recent family holiday shots
Two little sparrows drying off after a dip in the 'oh so Blue' pool ...
On the Island of Kos ...
This is my kind of blue... I know where I'd rather be right now
Link up your kind of Blue at Our Beautiful World this week
Enjoy your day

A really wonderful post Ros, lots of lovely blue around your place and great shots of your brothers too. Cheers and enjoy your week Robyn
Gorgeous photos Ross!
The contrast between the UK and the Netherlands is quite big. We had a sunny weekend. But tempratures were not great. In fact; in my opinion it's cold :)
Love your take on this theme.Fab photos; I hope your brother and his family are having a wonderful time!

I'm so sad that you're feeling blue Ros. Your photos are wonderful. I'm sending you a great big old squishy hug. :-)
Oh no, truly blue in the full sense of the word Ros! The feeder does definitely look lonely and abandoned and the pansy on it's own is a bit soulful!
Though I have to say that the blue of the feeder is beautiful as is the beaded lacy web in it! and to me chippy paint is lovely, and so is that happy little face of the pansy....gorgeous indeed! The warmer times will come back for you and Ginger. :)
But oh my.....those colours in your brother's shots!! So vibrant and eye catching.
Hope you're feeling less blue by now. :) ♥
Your blue and my blue would be the same, Ros, however there is a place and time for everything, all the photo's are beautiful, my favorite from each group, the pansy and the birds after a drip in the pool! Have a wonderful Monday, even if it is dreary!
Blue is my absolute favourite colour Ros, so I am loving your collection today (and your brother's)! I think the dewdrops are gorgeous and remind me of Spring time! big hugs :)
I hope the weather clear up and you feel better soon, lovely post of blue!
Love your pictures, Ros!
