Frosty the snowman and Cat news

Hello...
I hope you're having a good week

I mention that I got the new digital stamps from Pink Petticoat ... one of which was a penguin and one a snowman ... Here's a card I made using the little snowman

He's cute isn't he

The sentiment comes with the stamps

If you are interested in an update on the Cat read on ... if not please feel free to move on

I had a busy day yesterday part of which was spent at the vet's with my friend ... Her cat usually goes to the PDSA for treatment but the past few weeks their dental equipment has been broken and they said her elderly cat needed a tooth extraction ... My friend was really upset so I took her to my vet and and had her fully checked out ... Amazingly all her blood test were good and the teeth too! The relief was worth every penny and the 2 hours spent there ... For years my friend was led to believe the cat had severe kidney problems but tests ruled this out ... Yay!
The other good news is about the tabby cat living here ... I needed to collect meds for her (she had worms yuk!) and the vet said that if we can get her to them they would take her in and find her a good home!

Right now she's cosy in her new 'hutch'... She's been living in it since I made it and we bring her in a few times a day for a little fussing ... away from the other cats of course!
Not wishing to disturb her I took these photos through the window so they are not too good but you can see what I mean

I think she likes the fish on the waterproof covering Lol!

Now she's been medicated I'm hoping she will feel better and let us catch her without any stress.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good result ...

Bet you think I'm crazy huh?

Have a good day and thanks for stopping by

~ Ros ~

Your snowman is a cutie and your style is changing. I love to see that. We all change our style I guess. But what I love about you that you keep adding your signature to everything you make. I always see beauty, eye for detail and perfection. I am a fan :)
And your cat; no you're not crazy. This world needs people like you. You are amazing and it's wonderful what you are doing for your cats. Including the new addition. Love that covered cupboard. Yes cats do like fish :)

Another cut card, Ros, love your winter scene. As for the cat, know I don't think you are crazy. People who love animals feel empathy for any animal in need whether it be a cat, dog or any other animal. You are just a kind and caring person and kudos to you! Happy Wednesday!

you're not crazy at all just a caring person . I had a mother with her small kitten arrive in my garden, they were sleeping in the storm drain . The RSPCA asked if I could feed them for a couple of weeks to gain their trust . I did all this and managed to catch them in a possum trap . I hope the RSPCA were able to home them - I can't think about the alternative.

Love the card Ros, that snowman is too cute! The sideways fishtail banners look fantastic!

I don't think you're crazy at all, I think you have a big heart, like I do. I'm a huge animal lover, to the point that I will walk out of a movie theatre if they show animal cruelty...it's a cheap way to get a thrill out of the audience and I won't stand for it.

Once, I saw a bird up on the top of a building, it's leg was caught in a wire or string that was attached to the weather vane. It was flying left and right and up and down trying to get free. I was balling my eyes out. My husband got on his phone and started making phone calls. Turned out, it wasn't even a real bird!!! It was some goofy plastic bird that the wind was whipping around, meant to scare away actual birds!

I was never so happy to be wrong in my entire life!
Well now that I bored you with my bird story, I shall retreat. lol big hugs :)

Hi Ros, your snowman card is so cute - cool fun image and sentiment. Now read back about the cat...poor thing, you are so kind to it and so I hope now the vet can find a loving home. We have a neighborhood cat here, next doors told us about him but he must be the sergeant around here and bosses and hisses and screeches at our two boys, first they were ...ohh another cat and go to investigate, now they run, lots of screeching and fur flying at times. Hugs Robyn

I love the background with the soft greens Ros it looks SO good with your new frosty little cutie!! VERY pretty :) Ros Im so glad you are such a softie!! This kitty is blessed to have ended up at your house. We had a starving young stray that came along this summer. We have fed it all along. My spoiled little rascal Petunia doesnt want anybody in her yard so the new one lives in the driveway in the little home we have made for it :)

That snowman is absolutely adorable and I love the sentiment! So good your friend's cat finally went in for a proper check... and I didn't know about the latest addition in your (outdoor) household - I guess I need to be catching up a bit here! And no, you're not crazy at all. I's take her in on the spot.
