Hello ...
It's been a busy few weeks and I've so much to do in the house ... sewing and painting and sorting out my craft stuff eventually...
I'm trying to keep going all day to distract myself from this awful itch and the rash I'm enduring... I have an appointment at the hospital next week and I'm praying that they will find something to cure me...
The other night we had workmen here until late so I spent a couple of hours in my room and pulled out lots of scraps and made 4 cards ... I'll try and share one each day
But here's the first one proving you don't need much to get a pretty card
But here's the first one proving you don't need much to get a pretty card
I love this card and it's only 2 little scraps of paper ... one that I had splattered gold paint on
The die cut 'you' I had in black and white ... I tend to cut a few at a time and keep them to hand ... So I layered them up to give a shadow effect
The "thank" die actually says "thanks" but I just cut off the "S"
The bling flower was left over from other projects and the pretty silver flower was from Ira
I'm sure my best cards all come from scraps Lol!
It's so very windy here and cold ... I hope you are all safe where you are
Thanks for looking in ... Till soon

I just clean up my craft too, sort of... sister in law will be here, craft room better not look look junk piles.
So pretty, Ros! Those dies pack such a punch! Hope they are able to pinpoint the problem, too. No fun!
So sorry to hear about your itching! I do hope they can help, that sounds so frustrating! I'm loving this card! Way to use up some of those scraps!
Hugs~
Goodness, you can certainly put beautiful scrap cards together..I have been doing a lot of the same, using up what I have (I am sure it is just so I can buy more..lol)...funny how you can put all these "pieces" together and they all look like they were meant to be together in the first place!! Weather here is cold, we are to have freezing rain/snow mix this morning, just in time for kids to go to school and people to work...but it is only 51 days until Spring...and I am counting!!
Another very pretty card and a great use of scraps. I am really enjoying how you are using gold splatters - can't help but feel I would end up with a big mess. Hope you get some relief from your itching soon.
Wonderful thank you card Ros! Love the shadow on the "you" and your rhinestone flower is gorgeous! Sorry to hear you're still having problems with that pesky rash. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! big hugs :)

It's the perfect card, in many ways! Love the shadow effect! On another note, I'm so sorry to hear that this rash is still giving you so much trouble. Keeping my fingers crossed that the cure is around the corner!
I applaud you my friend. I am awful about using scraps up. I love the splattering of gold and you can't go wrong with word dies. Fantastic card Ros. Hugs!
Wonderful colour and die combination Ros, that bling bling bloom is oh so pretty, too! Love your new blog header, btw ;-) Hope they will be able to help you next week, take care, Ira

This card is lovely, Ros, and you are right, it doesn't take a lot to make a pretty card!
