There's a new word prompt over at
This week it was my turn to pick the prompt and it's simply Flutter
We have so many butterflies here right now ... they seem to be fluttering everywhere
Mostly they are Peacock butterflies but not all of them
And quite recently I had to cut out 80+ paper ones for the Thursday club project ... Here they are fluttering on acetate stems
The group made exploding boxes as a Mother's Day gift
I thought I'd also share a photo of one of the many squirrels we have in the area ...
This little guy was enjoying the sunshine we've had recently and decided to take a nap ... His fluffy tail was just fluttering in the breeze

The butterfly is beautifully photographed, with my attempts to catch them with my camara, they always fly up and away!

Oh my the exploding boxes. It must have been quite time consuming to prepare these but the result is gorgeous. All hte credits for you and Pat! Is that cutie of a squirrel taking an nap in your garden? Wish I could sit there too,. With you and Pat. And Ginger :)

I bet all their eyes just lit up when they saw all those bobbing butterflies. That was an awesome project for them Ros. Thanks for sharing your pretty garden lovelies. hugs!
Stopped by yesterday to look, but I forgot to comment...love all your butterflies, we have the same ones on our trees now. My that is a lot of paper ones as well, hope the projects all turned out well!
Beautiful photography! I like your paper butterflies...as others as said in comments before me...I bet it was a lot of work...but I'm sure they made wonderful projects!
