A Christmas Shaker

Hello... How are you?

Just when I thought I was getting over this bug, it decided to hit me again ... I feel like hibernating till Spring comes along....

Anyway.. I have a card that I made last week... Just a Christmas shaker

...Using the cityscape die and although you can't see it I cut it a few times and layered it up so the shaker has quite a bit of dimension

It was so nice to hear your views on my post regarding all the new releases and it seems we all pretty much agree... best not to get caught up in the frenzy and get the most out of what we have

I confess I have bought something recently ... I treated myself to the Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints - I haven't tried them yet but I'm hoping they'll be a good investment

I hope you have a lovely weekend ...

Take care

~ Ros ~

I'm so sorry you're feeling worse again, Ros--take care of yourself & go to the doctor is you're not better soon--could be a secondary infection. This is one stunning Christmas card--unique, creative & beautiful! I really love that sentiment stamp!

This is so beautiful. I love everything about it - the inky sky, the perfectly shaped shaker window, the snowflake on the side.....
Get well soon!
Oh, and I hope you don't mind me pinning it.

LOL I fell prey to those paints too. I don't have very good watercolor skills so I'll need to do some practicing. This is NOT just a Christmas shaker! It's wonderful. I like the layered buildings and the sparkly snowflake as well as your gorgeous inky background. Hope you feel much better soon Ros. Hugs!

What do you mean, 'Just' a Christmas Shaker...nothing you do is just. Your shaker card is gorgeous, beautiful and very creative and I envy them ever-time I see them. Your background is atmospheric and the blending and water splats as always is perfect. Loving the stars in the shaker too. I really must give these shakers a go as they really are stunning! Hope you'll feel better soon, you've been unlucky? x Yep better not to get caught up in the frenzy....however I have never heard of Kuretake Gansai Tambi Paints, so better go and investigate them! x

LOVE this shaker, I need to get this die out and use it...looking at my next free day and I am bringing it out..lol...love the dimension, too!!

I also fell for something new, that tool called "The Fuse", I have been wanting it since it came out to make pockets for my dies but didn't want to pay the price, found it for half off...so couldn't pass it up...can't wait to see what you do with the paints...I know it will be fabulous!!

Hope you feel better soon...sometimes wouldn't it just be nice to have someone wait on us when we don't feel good...big dreamer aren't I...lol...take care my friend!!
