Hello there...
It's my brother's 45th wedding anniversary today and I am sharing the card I made for them... My SIL loves poppies and red poppies are a symbol of remembrance.
Today I dedicate this to the people of Paris where so many lost their lives in a terrible assault last night... Both my Grandfathers were French and they fought for freedom and peace....
The stamp I used is by Technique Tuesday and I embossed it in gold before water colouring it

Oh how I love poppies, your card is beautiful...love the gold embossing, makes it so elegant! Yes, I feel for the people of Paris...I just don't understand why there are so many crazy and cruel people in the world, why can't we all just live our lives the way we want in a normal world??
Oh this is a strong/powerful blog post on many levels x Your card is striking and so gorgeous. As always the layout is perfect and loving the angle of the front panel...I never think to do that and it's so effective. So sad about Paris too, my husband and I was driving out to have lunch yesterday and he was saying that we should start looking for tickets to Paris since we have the ticket to NYC booked in March, I was all excited to go to Paris in March and then we walked into the restaurant, and the TV was broadcasting the bad news, that was so so sad as Paris is one of my beloved city.
