Good morning friends
A new challenge starts today at City Crafter and it's Kirsty's turn to host for us
The challenge Kirsty has given us this week is
"You are my Super Hero"
Create a project that includes one (or more) of the following
1. Super Hero
2. Comic Strips
3. The word Super
This is really not my forte - Talk about a challenge Arrrgh!!!
I finally came up with something and when I shared a sneak peek with my friend Stella, well, she went into fits of laughter...
You're laughing too huh? Well it was the best I could do... I don't own any stamps or dies suitable for this challenge so for some reason I thought it would be fun to use an owl as my Super Hero (as well as the word Super) I used a Woodware owl stamp and cut out just the larger owl... If you take a look Here you will see that it's not a full owl so I found a cape shape on the internet that I altered slightly to cover him
The mask I drew and cut on the cameo and I used a Stampendous tree stamp for the branch... Again it was only half a tree so I just turned my stamp and stamped again lining up with the first one.
The sentiment was done on my computer and everything was coloured with copics and a little glossy accents added to the mask...
I'm really looking forward to seeing what you come up with... Our GD this week is the lovely

Oh your owl is too sweet, love his long red cape. Great take on a unique theme. hugs :)
This is so fun and cute, Ros! I love it. :) The bold colors are great. That mask on the owl is a hoot! ;) I love using Glossy Accents.
Oh! And thanks so much for the welcome! :) <3
I think it's great. I love it when people rise to a challenge that doesn't come easily to them - that's when real creativity flows. Well done - it's fun and bright and will be just perfect for a fun person's birthday.
Oh, this is so 'super' cute and so creative...I would of struggled with this too, but you sure have nailed it!
What a fun card, Ros...I love your super hero! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
That is a Challenge for sure and Im duly impressed with your clever not to mention funny card! Fantastic job with this one Ros :)
What a hoot! Talk about creativity! I would be scratching my head over this one, too, because I don't have any superhero stamps either. Now you just need to come up with an awesome superhero name for him. "Captain Who" "Super-regurgitator" and "The Incredible Flying Bird" are all available, I hear.
Hahaha! Oh, Ros, your masked owlsader is a hoot!! I LOVE THIS!!! Enjoy your day!! Hugs, Darnell
I am not laughing but it sure put a great big smile on my face, it is so CUTE!
Why would anyone laugh ! I did smile however as this is the cutest super owl ever in his ancy mask and cape. Alot of work went into this and it proved what a fantastic and tenacious artist you are. I bow down to you.
Marie
Stella told me about your card today, and again she went into fits of laughter... At this moment me too!
Well done Ros :-)

Sweetie I already sent you a mail; your owl is brilliant!
Hope to speak soon....
So adorable Ros!!!
You are amazing, Ros! So inventive--fun, fun card!
Yes this is not my forte either...however you've done a really clever, imaginative and fabulous card. This was a challenge and boy oh boy did you rise to it. So creative to use the cape to hide a bit of the owl, to stamp and turn the log branch and make your own mask. Fabulous creation x
How adorable!!
Brilliant and very clever! :)
What a hoot - and isn't it great if the card makes a smile appear on anyone who sees it? It's adorable and I admire how you faced that challenge! I'm pretty sure I would have retreated too soon...
Super fun, Ros! You totally rocked it! Way to get creative!
Well this just shows what a super hero card maker you are. Lots of clever ways to create with what you have. Great job Ros!
