Blooming Marvellous

Hello!

Nothing crafty to share today but I have some photos to show what a difference a week can make in the garden
The UK has had some good weather with a few rainy days thrown in and when I came home from my holiday I was delighted to see how full the garden had become...

Tulips from Stella... they were just buds a week ago

Lilacs in abundance this year and I am so thrilled as we didn't have a single one last year

The winter pansies are still going...

We even have potatoes coming up

Forget me Nots....

I lost my lovely nephew 11 years ago and they always bloom on his anniversary

Yellow poppies are dotted around ... blooming where they choose

The shrubs are laden with buds and the blossom is out

This has to be my favourite time of year when everything is new and fresh... The trees are the most beautiful shade of green and long forgotten flowers are bursting into life again

Thank you for letting me share

This is my favorite time of year as well, Ros, when everything is so fresh and wonderful! Amidst all the color is the touches of blue which are really rare in nature...love all your beautiful flowers and trees! Have a wonderful Thursday!

I'm drooling over your beautiful garden, Ros! I can almost smell those gorgeous lilacs! I finally asked the nursery what to do so maybe mine will bloom & we'll see if the food works next year. Hugs, Greta

Wow. Wow. Wow. What a paradise, Ros! I had to keep going back to the lilacs, however. They steal my heart every time so I feel your joy at such an amazing crop!! Hugs, Darnell

Wow, your flowers are beautiful, doesn't it just make you happy to see their pretty heads popping out...so fun to see what you have blooming in the UK compared to what we have in the states. You have inspired me to take some photos here if I can too . Our lilacs this year are almost nil...except for one little bush called 'Little Kim" the frost, snow and ice got them this year!
