City Crafter 312

Good morning friends

It's my turn to host the challenge this week at

The challenge is Pretty Pink 'n ' Pastels

Create a project in Pastel Colours and include Pink somewhere

I often find it hard to set challenges and then when I do and come to make my project ... inspiration suddenly ups and leaves...
I finally managed to get my card done in the end

I had a Cameo cut out sitting on my desk and decided to use it as a stencil for some ink blending and as the little bird stamp set had just arrived, it went from there...

I used distress inks to paint the bird and added some glossy accents on his eyes - the leaves were die cut and I used a white gel pen to add a little interest both to the leaves and the bird

Our Guest Designer this week is the lovely Maria Patrick winner of week 305 ...
Please hop on over to the City Crafter blog to check out the creations from both Maria and the rest of our team ... We hope you'll be inspired to play along with us

Have a wonderful day!

I know what you mean about challenges. By the time I have theme for a challenge I make a card and share it:) And when I have to come up with something I end up staring at my desk and Pinterest :) And the deadline is coming up and I feel a bit stressed :)
But more important; your card turned out great. I must admit that your stinkin; cute bird in my favorite colros is a true eye catcher. I love it!
Miss you too.....
