Another Guy Card and Thank Goodness for Bloggers

Hello there...

I enjoyed a wonderful day with Darnell and her friends Shirley, Monicka and Em... It was just what I needed considering that the night before I received what I can only describe as a vile email banning me from my friend Eileen's funeral.....sigh
I know... There are some very nasty people in this world so thank goodness for all you sweet and lovely bloggers, ours is a wonderful community.

Now before I shoot off to spend another day with Darnell and meet even more crafty bloggers (great huh?)  I have a card to share that I made for my husbands friend who celebrates his birthday soon.

Just playing with inks again but you know I'm pretty addicted to them

...And they can bring a card together so quickly

When I create I can just let go of all the awful stuff out there and have fun

I'll share some photos in the week and let you know how today goes

Take care and have a beautiful day

I think I shall start calling you the Inking Queen. :-) Love the detail you got for the grassy hillside. Great work Ros.
Don't you worry about that nasty email. You were there for your friend when it counted. Hugs!

What a fabulous card and for a guy. Those are always hard for me, but you have done a wonderful job. Love the CAS approach and the scene you created.

You know, those people do not have joy & real success in their lives, I believe, & they will be held accountable. So very sad. Your friend was lucky beyond words to have had your love & care, Ros--you made a difference. So, so glad you had fun with Darnell & I know the event will be so much fun--enjoy, my friend! Sending virtual hugs--you're in my thoughts!

Whhaaaat??? Why would they do that when it was you who spent all that time with her? Truly vile and I'm sorry! I'm glad you have the diversion of stamping and stamping friends to brighten your spirit. This is one of your most beautiful cards yet! The hillside is amazing behind that fabulously crisp black. Love that stamp! Sweet green on the sentiment. WOW!

I am glad you get some joy from meeting bloggers.
What kind of evil soul is banning you from going to Eileen's funeral, I just can't imagine how nasty people can be, I shouldn't be surprise though, I myself have experienced some difficult situation at the Singapore club years ago. sigh..... people!
What a lovely card and you are a master of inking!

Such a lovely card! I can't believe you were banned from Eileen's funeral, though... as if it were about other people when in fact it's about Eileen. Well, when it comes down to it you don't have to be there for her to know how much you loved her.

Oh, my! So sorry to hear you being banned from Eileen's funeral. Evil people are sad and angry people. But, do not let them take you down. You know in your heart you did the right thing. And, your dear friend, Eileen was very blessed for your loving care! Your masculine birthday card is just so beautiful with the inking! Have tons of fun visiting with Darnell and friends! You deserve it...hugs!:-)

Beautiful card, Ros! Will be pinning this :). It was lovely to meet you and your wonderful tour-guide hubby Ian on Tuesday, and again with Pat on Wednesday (Hi Pat!).
So sad about the email, but you have the comfort of knowing that you did your best for your friend.

Beautiful card, Ros, and the best way to bury sadness is to craft and surround yourself with good things!

Getting lost in crafting is one of my favourite ways to switch off. Sadly, I seem to be getting little time to get to do it at the moment :( Great card, love how you have inked the green, very effective.
