Embossed Die Cuts

Good morning...

There's a challenge going on at Happy Little Stampers with Die Cuts

I have a card I made when I was playing with my embossing powders and left over die cuts that will fit the bill

Sometimes those odd pieces that you never thought would go together just do

Ok, maybe a bit unusual to have coral with a heart and a piece of honeycombe Lol!  But I like it.
You can probably see the difference in the embossing... On the coral die cuts I used silver and gold but the sentiment and little pieces from the honeycombe are embossed with a mix of both...

...And the heart has been splattered with silver and rose gold drawing ink that I picked up at The Works

It's lashing down with rain here and I know that some of you are experiencing far worse... My thoughts are with you

Take care and thanks so much for stopping by

~ Ros ~

How about a trade--I send you sun & you send me rain?! You're so right--can't complain about the weather with all the people dealing with fires & floods. You are so creative, Ros--the pieces go together beautifully for a gorgeous, modern card--love the gold & silver!

Your card is a mix of odd pieces but it's gorgeous. A brilliant mix and match and I love the silver and gold details. That piece of coral is fab!

Beautiful card Ros and isn't amazing how one can create with all those leftover pieces but yet they look like they were made for each other?...I love how all this came together...I need to focus on using up my many leftovers, thanks for inspiring me once again! Our weather here took a turn to the cooler side, but we are warming up and going to get rain on an doff the next 3 days due to hurricane Irma...yep it was such a big one it even reaches as far as Michigan!!

You're right. Normally you wouldn't think of those pieces together, but they look fantastic. Love the touches of shiny color.
