Just a few cards

Good afternoon lovely people
I expect like me you are all very busy with Christmas preparations and lots to do with little time...

Anyway I thought I'd pop in and share a bunch of cards I put together using odd bits of CS to blend and splatter on

I don't think I've used that stamp before

Why a kitty on here? Well this is for the lovely couple who adopted my Pushka and regularly send me photos and updates of how she is doing... She's become one spoilt cat I can tell you!

A little glittered foam die cut...

More stamps that I don't think ever got used before

Thank you for all your kind wishes for my DH ... He is home and recovering after his surgey, still quite sore and very bruised. He had to stay in hospital a little longer than anticipated and because his BP was low, they wouldn't even let him come with me to see my consultant in the same hospital.

Fortunately Mikey was with me ... Sometimes it's hard to take it all in on your own. Seems whilst the spinal arthritis is not a serious concern at my age, the damage it has done to a couple of the discs is severe. So the operation will be a little more complex and I should be scheduled for surgery in January. I'm waiting till my DH is a little better....

I hope you are all well and I wish you a beautiful day

So glad to hear that your husband is home now - even if it took a little longer. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for your surgery in January, too. But now on to your absolutely gorgeous set of cards! I'm speechless - I'm so amazed at how you used supplies that are not Christmas at first sight and how you made that work. Just perfect!

Glad hubby is home recovering & that your surgery will be soon. So wish I could be there in person to at least give a hug & make some tea for you. Oh wow, Ros--I do so love your style, my talented friend! These are all gorgeous & neat stamps that needed to be used! I'm thinking those are leaves you used as trees--so creative & perfect! Love the glittery branch & the kitty one will be treasured, I'm sure! Thinking of you & sending holiday love & hugs, Greta

Blue and green -- my favorite background color combo. And you do make some beautiful backgrounds! Not only that, but you have some gorgeous stamps to use with them. These are all so pretty, Ros! Your kitty adopter will get a big smile out of her card. Sweet! It's good that your DH is home. That's an improvement, even with the soreness and bruising. I hope it's all behind him soon and he'll be better than ever. January is not that far away, so you'll be feeling much better for 2018. Something to look forward to. Merry Christmas!

Such a beautiful collection of holiday cards, Ros! The softly ink blended backgrounds are fabulous with the spatters, the heat-embossing, the die-cut, and the adorable kitty!
