Watercolour Garden

Hello and good morning

It's cold today with flurries of snow and hailstones. I have to venture out to do a little grocery shopping and to get a little exercise but I'm squeezing in an entry for the challenge over at

A long while ago I tried my hand at painting little flowers freehand, I wasn't that impressed with my efforts so I put the piece to one side... Then I saw this challenge and thought, well, maybe it's not so bad and made it into a card

I love to join in this challenge when I can... It pushes me to try things I perhaps wouldn't have and share pieces I perhaps wouldn't have either

....I have a box full of trinkets and these little gardening gloves seemed to be the perfect addition  - How I wish my garden were as colourful right now

As always I'm wishing you a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for popping in

Till soon

Thank goodness you didn't throw away your painting, Ros! I don't know what you didn't like about it--a gorgeous garden & a wonderful card! Love the score lines & the cute gardening gloves! Be safe out there. We had tiny hail stones for about 30 seconds when Fritz & I were walking, but we've also had a lot of sun. Truly looks & feels like Spring--wish you were here!! Love & hugs, Greta

Beautiful scene on your card. It makes me long extra for spring/summer. Here in the Netherlands snow is falling at this moment...brrr. Stunning stamping in beautiful watercolours.
Greetings Miranda

Goodness, Ros, I love the look of this! You shouldn't hesitate to share something this pretty. I honestly thought it was one of those Art Impressions watercolor-type stamps. Forget what they're called, but they look just like this. Absolutely beautiful! Cute little garden gloves and love the simple card design with the score lines for framing. I wish my garden looked like this, too. Even in the summer it won't look like this because now the deer eat everything I try to grow. It's amazing how I have any color at all.

Wow, you painted a very bright and cheerful garden with pretty colors, Ros! And what a great addition the green garden gloves are! I also love that you scored the lines above and below of the watercoloured panel. It makes a simple and sophisticated frame. Hideko xx
