Hello!
I didn't think I'd be posting again so soon but whilst the World Cup was on TV and England were rising to glory I had time to play.
My lovely friend Pat gave me some new word dies... One was "Beach"
which I used on my previous card and today I'm sharing a creation using another
which I used on my previous card and today I'm sharing a creation using another
"Salty Toes and Sandy Kisses"
This one I'm entering at Double D Challenges
You all know I love anything nautical and right now I'm dreaming of being at the beach with palm trees swaying and the gentle sound of waves lapping on the shore.... STOP!!!
Ok... I'm back on planet earth... And here's my card
Admittedly I couldn't easily post this even though those shells are tiny and anyway, I will be keeping it, probably to frame but I'm sure I'll make a few more for friends
The BG is done with my latest favourite inks... Cracked Pistachio and Faded Jeans and when I was splattering it with water I had a happy accident... I spilt the water (see, on the bottom) and I love the effect I got
The wreath was made using circle dies (I cut 3 lots to make it thicker) and then I set to work with a glue gun, some tulle, pieces of string, lots of tiny shells and some pearls.
The rope is a little too thick but it's all I had and the little boat I found amongst my stash.
I die cut the words a few times and glued them together to finish off.
It's been on my 'to make list' to do a large heart shaped wreath like this to hang on my wall... one day I'll get around to it...
Well that's it for now
Have a great day
~ Ros ~

Gorgeous card, Roz! Cracked Pistachio and Faded Jeans are two of my favorite inks too. Love all of your shell elements and the added nautical rope. Such a delight to see one of you cards again. Thanks for joining the Double D, "Nautical" Challenge.
What fabulous dimension and detail - fabulously nautical.
Oh my gosh Ros...this is FABULOUS!! Would you like my address? You are SO creative to come up with this 3D card...so many elements to keep my eyes moving around the wreath!! Loving all the little shells and pearls and that tiny sailboat in the center is just perfect! Definitely love the die cut sentiment too! Can absolutely see why you'd want to frame this...definitely worthy my friend!! :0)

Wow, this is a fantastic card/project, Ros! I love it! The background is so beautiful and the nautical wreath is AMAZING! Using some tulle and adding the layered die-cut sentiments to the wreath made a huge difference. Looking at this will instantly take you back to the beach dream! :-) Hideko xx
Wow, I can see why you will frame this as it is beautiful, would look great at my lake house as I have it decorated all nautical there! So many cute little shells which I imagine you have gathered while on one of your trips. You always do nautical themed cards so brilliantly and this one is no exception Ros. Love the wreath, all the texture, the beautiful background, the cute ship and that wonderful sentiment from Pat. I love my two sea shell wreaths, but this tiny wreath on a card is extra super beachy keen! Love the sailboat and sandy toes die, plus the tulle and pearls. The card base makes a nice way to display it, framed or not. What a treat to see your beautiful creation at Double D, Ros!
Your beach shell arrangement will be a beautiful framed work of art for your home, Ros. I love all the embellishments and perfect die cut sentiment. Beautiful watercolored background too. TFS my friend. Hugs..

This card is... I'm at a loss for words. I'm amazed at the idea and how you executed it - it's wonderful. Maybe you could mail it in a former chocolate box or something? But then: if you have a spot to put it in your home, why not keep it??
This is to die for Ros, I just love it and you should definitely frame it, wonderful
