CAS Mix Up

Hello ...
How are you all? It's a dull and windy day here but not as cold as it has been lately...

Today I have a card for the CAS Mix Up Challenge

Though I have a lot of embossing folders, they are not something I use much now so I kind of challenge myself on this one

I added stamping and die cuts... Scraps really

I resisted the urge to add glitter and left it quite bright and simple, unlike yesterday's tree... Cutting the deer was intentional

I hope you enjoy your day

Till soon

I have that same embossing folder (along with MANY other's I rarely use!) and never would have thought to use it the way you did Ros, but I absolutely LOVE it!! What a great idea to add to the forefront of the card...that gate and deer are fabulous additions with the embossed village behind them! Lovely, lovely card my friend!! :0)

Like Marcia above I have this folder which does come out sometimes at Christmas but not for several years now, and I have never thought to use it like this, and I love the simplicity and the added fence, deer and foliage is just perfect, and a lovely sentiment to finish too. A beautiful and serene scene Ros. x

Your embossed background is a most beautiful way to make a scene and still keep it clean and simple. Ohhh, how I love it with the deer and fence and overhanging branch! I use my embossing folders a lot and adore them, but this one is fantastic! You are a well-deserving winner of these two challenges, Ros.

Your neutral coloured design is so elegant Ros. Love the white and black with the little hint of gray. Fabulous way to use the dry embossed village in the background. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

Ros, what a beautiful scene you created with the embossing folder, as with the others I have this one and haven't used it in such a long time :)

What a fabulous embossing folder and such a wonderful Christmas scene. The deer looks so striking in the black and love that he is knee deep in the snow. Great addition to the CAS mix up gallery Ros X

I love this whole design. You've created a wonderful scene by adding your die-cuts and keeping a restricted colour combo. It is a beautiful wonderland!
Thanks so much for joining us at CAS Mix Up! xx

Very glad you decided to take on that challenge - such a lovely card. I long for snow but with crazy 16 to 19°C here it's a long way off...
