Soft Snowy Scenes

Hello there... Are you all ready for the big day?
 Only 4 more sleeps!

I've a couple more cards to share, this time they are softer snow scenes

I used a glitter pen on the ornaments but unfortunately it doesn't show up on these photos
I stamped the trees first with distress ink (Iced Spruce) and then over stamped in Versamark and white embossed them

I used a HA ink (cornflower) on the trees here

and one of those tiny sponges for the moon

I also used a correction pen for the falling snow... It's a little quicker than paint and fast drying.

My great niece Sophia asked me to make her a some fingerless mittens when she was here on Sunday... I managed to get one done whilst she was here and she insisted on wearing that home so the other one has been mailed to her... She also asked me to make her a crocheted sleepy unicorn! Well, I've finished crocheting all the parts so today I have to sew it all together...
I've also had a big clear out in my craft room and little by little I'm getting to where I want to be in 2019 but more on that another time.

Have a beautiful day

Super stunning cards Ros...but then we have similar tastes I think. You sound to be very organised i have to say...care to come and help me sort my craft room...as fast as I get one thing sorted...something else needs doing...just no more space! I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New year. Take care xx

Your scenes are so pretty and the colours work perfectly Ros. You are obviously a fast knitter and crocheter to get these two things done so quickly. I'm sure Sophia will be delighted. What a lovely name! x

These are very pretty and I like the design with the baubles at the top and the scene at the bottom - great idea.

Stunningly beautiful cards, both of them. The trees look fabulous how you've done them Ros. The White heat embossing on the stamped sprigs and the baubles look so pretty. Love the soft colours too on your beautiful cards.
Sophia is a lucky girl X

Oh my goodness Ros, these are beautiful! I love when you create. The scenes are stunning, but with the embossing over the trees just adds that bit of extra interest to your cards. You certainly have been busy, Sophia is one lucky girl. I knitted both grandsons slippers for Christmas, now my daughter wants a pair! Wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas. Big hugs,

You make me sigh and shake my head. These are just SO gorgeous, Ros! Super cute house dies. Love that you've shown just the snowy roof on the second card. Ohhhh, those snowy hills and beautiful branches with ornaments. I love your fingerless mittens and I'm not surprised Sophia asked specifically for a pair. I'll very much look forward to hearing and seeing more about your craft room clear out. You know how I feel about decluttering. I can't wait to clean and tidy my room after Christmas!

So peaceful... I'm waiting for snow (in case I haven't mentioned it a zillion times before)! The closest we got was on Boxing Day, waking up to -7°C and everything all aglitter. Gorgeous cards!
