Hello from a very wintery UK...
I don't know what happened to Spring but Winter decided to pay us another visit again... Thankfully we don't have snow here in Liverpool but lots of the country has
Staying warm I made a card for this months challenge at CAS Watercolour Challenge....
I promise you that these were the easiest poppies to do
Once dry I stamped and embossed lots poppies and fussy cut them. Then I stamped and embossed again onto a small piece of card and layered the fussy cut poppies and buds.
The stamp is an old one by Technique Tuesday and only has 2 poppies on it but I decided to add more - Well, I didn't want to waste them Lol!
When I used to travel to Lincoln to see my aunt I loved seeing the many fields of poppies... I miss that and I miss my aunt....

Wow, Ros - these poppies are gorgeous and I love how you have arranged them on this stunning card - so stylish my friend!!! It's been really cold here too. I had to go off to a conference quite early today and had to scrape ice off my windscreen before I could set off - not what I was expecting after the pleasant weather we have been having.

It may have been an easy way to create your poppies but they look as if they were painstakingly done! They are so beautiful in such wonderful shades of red and pink. Love the way you fussy cut them and layered them so that they overhang the central panel.

What a beautiful way to watercolor your poppies! They turned out just splendid with all that lovely shading. Well, who doesn't love poppies, anyway? It's perfect to keep it all clean and white in the background, too. Makes your poppies really pop! Oh, those poor sheep. That's no weather for lambs. I think we're all ready for it to warm up considerably! I'm glad you shared your card at Double D, Ros!

OMG, Ros...I just LOVE your watercolored and fussy cut poppy design! I want to try your watercolor and stamping technique...so beautiful and wonderful way to loose watercolor:-) We are having rain, rain, rain..but rather that than snow. Stay warm and dry and glad you have no snow too. Hugs..Nancy
Your poppies are so amazing! Yes, you said they were easy, but you should be proud, because they don't look easy! They are gorgeous! I love how you arranged them on the white panel on the white card. I see I've missed a few of your posts so I scrolled down to ooh and ahh, sorry I've been missing a bit.

Wow, simply stunning, Ros! I LOVE these lovely poppies! I'm not sure exactly which colors of Gantai Tambi you used, but the colors and the blends are just amazing! Your precise fussy-cutting and the way you arranged the flowers and buds elevated the card to a whole new level!

What a gorgeous result you achieved by 'paining' on a panel and stamping the poppies over it - just beautiful! Love how you layered all the blooms in a cascade!
