Hello there...
I hope all my friends over in the USA enjoyed your 4th July celebrations... Now it's almost the weekend.
It's been another busy week in our household, one that included a trip to the Apple store in Liverpool One. I rarely go into the city but DH's iPad was dying so we made an appointment and off we went. What a beautiful day it turned out to be... The sun was shining and honestly you could have been in any city in the world... Sitting out taking coffee and in beautiful surroundings. For those of you who don't know what Liverpool One is... It's a redeveloped area of the city close to the river that has all the fancy designer shops as well as restaurants, coffee shops, book shops, a cinema and much more.
I said it had been awhile since we were there and the Apple store had moved into a larger premises... Very modern and full of people but we were looked after and came out with a new iPad for DH.
That was wednesday, so imagine my shock when I saw that yesterday (Thursday) the store was raided whilst all the shoppers were there. Yikes!
I have another card to share using a stencil... I've a passion for them lately, and this is for a blog friend who moved house ... a little late but it will still be a surprise I think.
I hadn't used that stencil before and the bird house die had been long forgotten
I also have to mention my visit to the dentist... It was amazing! My filling was fixed in 20 minutes with no needles no drilling AND the dentist I saw was a young (very) handsome Spanish guy... Total cost £22...What's not to like? Lol!
If only it could be like that all the time.

Beautiful stencilling Ros...lovely card(as always) What a tale to tell re the apple store!....glad yu were not there on the raid day! As for the dentist, so glad you had a good time with a handsome young dentist...£22..mmm..lol!!! Seriously glad you had a good experience...mine haven't been as good this week..though they did involve a handsome young man too! xx
I love the cool colours you used on this pretty card Ros. Your inking is so smooth and well blended too! I think your friend is going to love this one. I'm glad to hear that you went to Liverpool on an uneventful day. The dentist trip sounds like one I could have coped with - I have a great fear of the drill!

Well Ros, wonderful results on both fronts. The card is so bright and pretty and love that stencil with the die cut birdhouse and the sweet flower and flourish, and so pleased your tooth was fixed so easily with no stress. x

No wonder you love stencils lately! Gorgeous card! Love the birdhouse, too, with the sequin door! OMG - a raid the next day! And you better not eat a lot of chocolate to get cavities so you can see that good looking dentist!

Everything about this is so fresh and sweet and pretty! Never too late. I'm sure your friend was as delighted with it as I am! Your visit to Liverpool One sounds lovely, but I'm sure glad you got out of the Apple store before it was raided! Not sure what you mean by raided, though. On my side of the pond that would mean they were doing something illegal and the police or FBI raided them, took incriminating evidence and put some people in jail. Or maybe you mean they were raided by robbers? Glad your trip to the dentist turned out so well!
I'm thinking you mean the Apple store was robbed the day after you were there. Now that is scary! This might be my favorite stenciled card you've done--so creative & beautiful, Ros!
What a pretty color combo you used for stenciling, Ros! The bird house with a big sequin is very pretty. Your friend will love it.

I'm so glad you weren't there during the burglary! How traumatic that would've been. It also sounds like you missed out on any trauma with the dentist as well - so glad of that! Such a lovely birdhouse scene in blues and green, Ros!
Beautiful stenciling, love stencils myself but here they sit, summers are so busy it seems...lovely colors too!! Yikes glad it happened after you were there, a bit scary I am sure...your day out sounds fun though, I love places like that and we have few here that are close to us.
