CAS Mix Up

Hello ...Happy September!
It certainly feels like it here now.

I hadn't intended to make a card today... I was getting some craft things ready to play with Stella when she comes this week, then I saw the challenge at CAS Mix Up

A great way to use up your bits and pieces and you know I love nothing better, especially those teeny tiny bits I tend to keep...

Here's my card

...Which makes e think of me of Scotland. I've stayed there a few times- It's beautiful, especially when the heather covers the landscape and the leaves on my card reflect those colours.

First I die cut 2 inchies and from there I die cut a leaf shape into both inchies. Then I stamped and embossed three leaves on a small piece of AI done on photo paper, die cut one of them and the other two were adhered under the inchies.

Then there's the stag...
He too was hiding in my bits and pieces and believe me, you will see a lot of those magnificent animals in Scotland too. You know a stag is for life not just for Christmas right?
So there we go, it's my Scottish (inchies) card...

Have a beautiful week... Hopefully I will find time to catch up with you all soon

Take care

~ Ros ~

You're so creative! Not even in a million years would I come up with this CAS design, but it's so beautiful! Love the stag and how you did two inchies with a non-inchie in between. Pretty color on those leaves. We're having our warmest weather of the summer. It's gorgeous, but sometimes too warm for me.

Brilliant Ros! You have nailed this challenge. Love your 'inchies' and how you did the leaves, as well as the stag in behind. Ros you are so creative, you wow me with every creation! It's been cooler here as well this past week. It was only 66F (19C) today, but love it. This is sweater weather for sure! Have a good week.

An inchie card... slowly, things pop up in my head again of what I'd like to do card-wise. Maybe some time soon I'll actually make one again! Love the colors on yours and Christmas or not, stags or moose - they are right every time of the year!
