Watercolouring on cardstock

Hello...
Happy St Patrick's to those of you who celebrate!!

I hope you are all well and coping with this situation we are all in right now...
I've been able to spend a lot more time at home without the pressure from DH to go here and there, he loves being out and about but all that is changing.

So what have I been doing to keep my mind occupied and not become part of the doom and gloom? Well not stockpiling on toilet rolls that's for sure Lol!
I've been painting - Well, painting and doodling, trying to paint freestyle (flowers and greenery) and I've painted lots!
You know me and watercolour card don't really gel, so I use ordinary cardstock and of course you don't get the same results plus you have to work pretty quickly. I've done some small ones and some bigger ones but today I thought I'd share some smaller ones with you

I've used Prima Watercolour Paints... I love them and have now got 3 sets.

Everything is just kind of random and imperfect but I really enjoy doing these

I stamped a little watering can on this one but that's the only stamping I've done and some of the white dots you see are acrylic paint

Here's a couple of close ups

What do you think?
I'm pretty pleased with them and becoming addicted to doing these... They make pretty Easter cards too.

Stay safe my friends and keep crafting

Oh Ros, these are so beautiful and full of Springtime goodness!! If these were mine I would frame them as they are so very pretty!! Yes, we certainly have some madness going on in the world, don't we? We are for the most part hunkered down and pretty much have what we need until we run out of pet food which is my biggest concern. I do have a fast vet trip today to get Mack's pills before they shut that down. Take care my friend and stay safe!!

Absolutely fabulous, Ros!! I wish I lived closed to you so that I could take some lessons from you! Your cards look very planned and perfect to me! Seeing these certainly put a smile on my face after just hearing the President speak again on TV. Ah, now I want to create some cards in my craft room and think of good things! Thanks so much for the inspiration!! Take good care, hugs!!

Absolutely Stunning cards Ros! Wow, these are amazing. Lovely designs and colours, so soft and pretty and all your little details. I never knew you could paint like this. You are so talented in many ways. Would love to see more of your paintings as you create them! Stay safe Ros. My daughter and I both work for the same company and as of today we are both working from home. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to be able to do this. Hugs,

Well Ros you are a true artist if you can paint freestyle flowers like these, and the colours of the Prima paints are just gorgeous, and I love the added stamped watering can on the second around which you have built up your flowers. x

Ros!!!!! These are the prettiest cards!!!! You are completely amazing with your watercolor skills and your eye for composition. So beautiful!! We're doing well with our sheltering in place and social distancing. No hardship as long as we can go out for fresh air and exercise with the dogs. It's simply a necessary thing.

Hi Ros. First, I didn't realize that I was missing all your amazing cards. I saw one of your hand painted cards recently for the Apr. CAS Watercolour Spring Flowers challenge. AMAZING! So today I took a look at your blog and am blown away by all your gorgeous hand-painted cards. I will take a closer look at each one. You are so inspiring! Love Loll
