Still Painting

Hello there...
It's been a busy morning here with friends phoning to see how we are or just for a chat... I'm not used to too much conversation these days Lol!

I'm still doing a lot of little paintings and they are mounting up despite sending quite a few of them to friends and family, so I've decided to use up some of the the DP I've been hoarding to make a 'lockdown' album and add my painting with my own ramblings...

Today I'm sharing a couple of recent ones

I love flowers in jugs... I have jugs of all sizes and types, one of them is an aged enamel one which I tried to capture here

And then I did this one

I was going to title this post "a pair of jugs'" but somehow that didn't sound good haha!

And just to show you some of the collection...

I know... I can't stop!

It's another glorious day here and I'm quite enjoying the stress free living

Take care my friends and thanks so much for popping in

These are all just amazing ... you are such a talented painter ... wish I could do that!! What a clever idea to put them in a 'lockdown' album. And with your own personal ramblings included ... what a treasure for your family in years to come! Beautiful creations as always my friend ... stay safe!

Seriously, I'll send you my address if you've got more than you know what to do with Ros! I think putting a lot of these into a journal is a FABULOUS idea...what a happy book it would be to just go through every once in awhile when you needed a smile or pick me up! Lovely, lovely paintings Ros...ALL of them!! Hugs. :0)

I think we all needed to slow down, Ros. I love how you slow down and I think it's a fantastic idea to make an album of your paintings and thoughts during this unusual time! What a keepsake that will be!

Yes, don’t stop with the marvelous paintings, Ros! Quite a collection and all so fabulous! How fun to add them to an album. Journaling about this Coronavirus would be a great idea. I have lots of notes I’ve taken. Maybe at some point I’ll organize it. Take good care! And, thanks so much for sharing the gorgeous paintings!

Your paintings are so beautiful! You excel in everything you do, Ros! I remember when you were creating scenes with little miniatures - I was mesmerized, and it's the same with your paintings now! Thanks for the chuckle with your "pair of jugs"!

Dear Ros, my apologies for taking so long to get here. I haven't been on the computer much lately. You've been making good use of your time and I'm completely in awe. This pair of jugs (ha!) is gorgeous, and look at your utterly fabulous pile of art there! Seriously some of the prettiest stuff I've seen in ages. You're making a book? What a great idea! I hope you'll share later. Hugs!

You have a real talent for this painting, Ros. I was ooohing and aaahing as I looked over each picture. What a beautiful way to pass the time during quarantine.

Thanks so much for dropping by my blog the other day. So very nice to see you! It’s been a long time since I played in a challenge.

The "jug arrangements" are beautiful, too... I'm all into colored glass vases at the moment, no idea where that came from. Keep painting!
