Coffee and a Cat

Hello my friends...

I was debating which cards to share with you today, Cat or Coffee and in the end I decided to share both

This is a sketched and painted card for one of my half sisters who will be celebrating her birthday in a couple of weeks. We are all animal lovers and we all have cats so I think she will like this

I drew a little wind chime and found some tiny beads which I thought would look more realistic for the wind chime, plus I really need to use up my stash

Including some of the hundreds of sequins I seem to have... Here's a closer look

If you have ever owned a cat you will know how mischievous they can be and whilst typing this post, Missy reached up to the shelf I keep the catnip on and pulled it down... Now the floor is covered in it.

Coffee...
I do miss seeing my friends, catching up with a coffee and chatting about this and that and each time I looked at this card (I shared recently)

I couldn't help but see cups. So I thought why not draw handles and make that flower into a cup then I could make each of my GF's a card as a reminder of those lovely days

At least we can share a virtual coffee

They're only 4x4 cards and make up really quickly

I even used up some of the many papers I've hoarded over the years to make envelopes for them

I hope you are all well... Thanks so much for your visit

Stay safe

Oh Ros, what a delightful post!! You always make me smile with your creativity! That sweet little cat staring up at the windchime (which looks so realistic I might add!!) is so darn ADORABLE, and I love the added bling too! (Did you know sequins multiply?? Well at least mine do!!) And I am absolutely in LOVE with your coffee cup cards that you made from your flower stamp...now that is definitely what they call thinking outside the box!! Lovely, lovely cards my friend...as always!! Hugs. :0)

Your cards are so imaginative and fun Ros and I adore your sweet cat and the added beads to make the wind chime, and some lovely sequins too, and what a fantastic idea to use these flowers to make cups of coffee with, they work perfectly and your friends will be delighted I'm sure. x

Amazing cards again Ros, combining the stamping and your own artwork works wonderfully - love your cups and the first is so lovely - love the curved design, the wee ginger cat and wind chimes - beautiful painting and use of gems from your stash.... we have four cats - one is a ginger -Henry, he's the quiet one. Hugs and stay safe - hope all is well in your area, our's is good but we'll see soon as they're opening our state borders in 10 days.

Your first card with the wind chimes, so so creative, just blows my mind, wow! Your half-sister will love this, and your coffee cards, love these, and again you have a wonderful imagination to turn this flower head into a coffee cup! Amazing. Thanks for inspiring us once again. Your coffee cards are so lovely and creative, Ros! I know they will be welcomed by your friends. It's hard not to be able to get together! My eyes went directly to the windchime on the first card! I was as fascinated with it as your kitty! I love the circle shape of your painting and I'm sure your SIL will love it too!

Oh for goodness sakes--cups!! Your girlfriends are going to be so delighted to receive these little works of art from you, Ros! And the painting with the windchimes is amazing! The beads are just the icing on the cake! Have I told you how talented you are?!

Of course your half sister will love it! How could she not? Super clever to make the wind chimes so incredibly realistic with the little beads. That's the first thing I noticed and was totally gobsmacked. And talk about clever, those flowers turned coffee cups -- WOW! Such cute cards. I miss my friends, too. Today we had a couple over for coffee on the deck. We were spaced apart and stayed outside. It's such a different picture from the past. I don't think things will ever be normal again.

Ha, I would say the cup cards are a typical Ros invention - you always manage to create whole new things out of the stuff you have. They're wonderful, as is the idea of sending them out as a virtual coffee you have together. Needless to say, I love the cat card. It got Larry's seal of approval, too!
