Hello and thank you for stopping by today...
It's a dull but very mild November day so don't let the title of my post fool you... It refers to the five more Christmas cards I'm sharing today.
Snowy England
They are all made the same way, ink blending, stamping, a postbox and some little berries. The snow was done with texture paste and fine glitter and I've also used a Posca pen for splattering
I just altered the scenes
And though I use the same inks, The colours are never the same
There's something about a red postbox in the snow that always says Christmas... The postbox was a basic digital that I altered to look "British" by adding the crown and insignia and the little message and then colored them with Copics
I really enjoy making these type of cards and I hope you enjoyed seeing them
Have a great day, stay safe and well... There's good news on the horizon thanks to the amazing scientists who have been working away on developing a vaccine for this virus. Now if only they could fix stupid....
Till soon

Ros, I adore them! Especially your gorgeous 'British' postboxes! I'm sure you must have mentioned whose branch this is - looks a bit Penny Black-ish? It takes its secondary starring role beautifully! and those fabulous grey blended skie? Perfection!
Oh, dear, there is NO FIXING stupid! In fact, it just keeps getting stupid-ER!
=]
Oh my dear these are ALL just FABULOUS! I gasp at the beauty of each one as I scrolled down your post! I love the 'splatter' so I'm going to have to look into one of those pens! And yes we here in the states certainly need a Stupid Pill for a certain few!! Grrr! Stay safe & healthy and thanks every so much for keeping me inspired ... I just wish I had the artistic talent you have ... beautiful work as always! HUGS from OHIO USA
What delightful snowy scenes, Ros! Love the pop of the red post boxes and the berries! Wonderful backgrounds too and the dimension of the snow is awesome!
They are ALL absolutely lovely Ros!! Your bright red postboxes are just delightful set against your snowy scenes and definitely say CHRISTMAS! You are so gifted and I just love coming to see what you've been up to! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Beautiful Christmas cards Ros. x
Love, love ,love these Ros..xx
Oh, such lovely Christmas cards!! Love seeing the pop of red with the postbox! Wonderful snowy scenes! I'm not ready for snow here yet, but it certainly turned windy and cold...brrr! Gorgeous work as always, Ros! Take care and stay safe, hugs!!
Every single one is beautiful Ros and the postbox featured in each with the foliage and berries, and then the variations with the other tree used as a bush and a smaller tree, and your birds and snowy cottage all look fabulous. You are so clever with your colours and there really does look like there is snow to come in the slightly tinted skies. x
Gorgeous Winter snowy scenes featuring your red mail box:-) I love how you made each scene a little different and added all your snowy mixed media elements. TFS your beauties, my friend. Love and Hugs..Nancy
Gorgeous - great addition to make them English. xx
what a great way of making a few Christmas cards, I love the tiny differences between each. Wonderful inspiration :)
Amazing set of beautiful Christmas cards Ros x. Very wild, wet and awful weather up my end x.
Each scene is enchanting, Ros! It's fun to see the little differences in each. You got the sky color absolutely perfect, and I love your altered postbox. Lots of US towns have done away with postboxes, which is a shame because of all the mail theft -- we need a safe place to drop our mail. Unfortunately, you can't fix stupid.
Amen, sister! There seems to be a lot of stoopid in the world these days. But, you, my friend, you bring genius and art to the world with your stunning Christmas designs! Each of these charming cards needs to be framed! Wouldn't they make a wonderful collage on the wall?! Keep safe and well! Hugs, Darnell (p.s. I sent you an email a while back that might have gone in your spam. I have another thought, so I'll mail again.)
I'm loving each and every winter scene you've created Ros. It's fun to alter the elements so each one is unique. LOVE that red mailbox! xx
Oh Ros, these are all magnificent! Each one is different, love the altered red mailbox, and with the splash of snow, just makes these scenes so wintery! The way you created the sky is so spot on! You are on a roll my friend, I see there are a few more posts of yours I need to check out. Sorry so late at getting to these, I'm so far behind, need to do some catching up.
Fabulous cards, my friend! Yes, thank goodness for the virus! And if only they could cure stupid!
You are right... mankind has probably been told ever since the advent of ads that red post boyes in the snow mean Christmas, works for me, too - and our are yellow - and definitely would't work! Gorgeous cards, make me want to watch THE HOLIDAY on the spot!
