The Dog and The Rabbit

Hello friends... I hope this finds you well

So what's new since my last post? Well we had a visit from the police the other day asking us to stay indoors not even venture into the garden. The road was cordon off, the bomb squad and armed police arrived and we were left wondering... Seems a hand grenade was found that thankfully turned out to be an artificial one. Sad as it sounds it was a little bit of excitement for another day in lock down.

We are drowning in rain which is a good excuse for me not to go walking now my leg is on the mend and  just stay cosy in my craft room. In any event a certain someone is driving me nuts so I venture into my imagination... It's a place in the country where 2 little girls live and they have plenty of open ground to explore, not to mention quite a few pets...It's winter and today one of the the rabbits is out in the snow

Actually this is the bunny's first experience of snow

He's not quite sure what to make of it

The larger of the dogs prefers to pop out later in the day... He likes the snow and is mesmerized

There's nothing quite like open space and the silence of falling snow

I'll share the girls with you next time...

Have a good day though they seem to come and go so fast lately...

Be safe

WOW...that's quite the neighborhood you live in Ros!! I think I'll just stay in my nice and quiet and boring one! Haha!! Your bunny and sweet little (or should I say BIG?!) dog are both absolutely adorable and I just love the Wintry scenes you've painted them into! It reminds me of here...just received a new blanket of snow overnight! Lovely, lovely cards my friend!! hugs. :0)

Well life is certainly not boring where you live Ros! Very wet here too but mojo gone awol again! I love your little scenes, especially the bunny...they are both beautiful and as I have said before you are very talented. I just wish I was motivated to shut myself in the craft room! Take care...and please keep inspiring us with your wonderful art work . Hugs xx

Well that sounds like the kind of excitement we would rather not have, but good it turned out to be a dummy grenade and not the real thing. I love your bunny and then the dog in their snowy scenes, both painted beautifully Ros. x

OMG that had to be a scary visit!!!
Glad you were able to escape into this beautiful wonderland! Poor wittle bunny ... won't take him long to figure out it's far warmer inside his warm home lol. LOVE your doggie ... he sure seems intent on figuring out what's going on in the night sky.
You are so talented and such an inspiration to me! Thanks for helping to lift my spirits today ... January is always a difficult month for me and with covid ... well let's just say it hasn't helped matters any!!!
Stay safe & healthy my friend and keep your beautiful creativity flowing so you can share & continue to inspire us all. WELL DONE!!

Oh my, your excitement sounds a bit scary, but glad everything turned out okay.
No rain over here just gloomy days, and cold, we only have a bit of snow left from last week, scattered here and there but mostly green grass. I'm so wanting spring!
Ros, your bunny and doggy are the sweetest ever. Love the little scenes you have created, with the snow falling, you can almost feel how cold it is! You are so talented! Have a wonderful day Ros, take care, and so glad to hear your leg is doing well! Hugs,

Any little thing to bring some excitement to your day. Who has toy hand grenades? Sheesh! Ros, your critters today have touched my heart. You perfectly captured the sweet expression on the bunny's face, and the dog reminds me of how LuLu sits on the deck and is mesmerized by the snow (on the rare occasion it happens). Such darling and pretty scenes!

Two adorable winter scene cards Ros. Isn't it great when you can let your imagination go and shut out the rest of the things that are annoying! :) As always, I'm in awe of your talent, sweet friend. Hope the rain keeps us for a little longer so we can enjoy more of your cards! xx

Have you ever thought of maybe creating a little book? maybe elaborating on the story of the two little girls in the countryside and their animals... and of course add your wonderful illustrations?? Am I the only one who wants to just snuggle up to that bunny (don't tell Larry!)
