Kitty Cats

 Good morning friends...

Just a quick post today, I'm feeling a little under the weather after having my booster jab. The doctor warned me I would given that I was not too well after my first jab. Hopefully I will be okay tomorrow.

Today I have a two Christmas cards to share, made from a previous drawing I did of a cat and scanned to my computer

I decided to keep the pencil lines, from the drawings but added a little colour to the eyes then drew and painted the hat and holly

The sprig die cut is brought out every year! It was cut from a scrap of painted card, dipped in Versamark and clear embossed

And the second card

I glued silver thread around the circle here which was tricky as that thread did not want to stay put.

Cats look kinda funny without their ears showing huh? I debated about adding ears through the hat but in the end I just left it because it's not a 'whole' face anyway

That's it for now... I hope you are enjoying your weekend, it's gloriously sunny here but sooo cold!

Thanks for stopping by and for all your amazing comments about my sewing attempts as well as my cards, makes me happy!

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Your kitties are ADORABLE Ros, and you've turned them into lovely, lovely cards!! And I hope you feel better soon! I had a reaction to the booster too, but nothing too serious...lasted a couple days. Hang in there!! Hugs. :0)

Wednesday now so I hope you are feeling better. Two really great cards, I particularly like the one with the round image and I sympathise with you trying to get that metallic cord to stick xx

Sorry you didn't feel good after the booster. I was sick after my 2nd shot, but the booster didn't bother me. Hope I have lots of antibodies now! These are such sweet cards--love the Santa hat on the kitty face!

Ah, Ros, your kitty cards are so pretty! Lovely designs and a drawing you can fit to any season. I like how you turned the last one into an ornament. Clever! I'm sorry the booster got you down. I've been concerned about that since Rich and I had a mysterious illness recently (not COVID). He is having a CAT scan next week as a result of something seen on x-ray. We'll check with the doctor about the wisdom of boosters at this time.

Beautiful cards... though the santa kitty has a bit of a stern look. But that is more than made up for by the softness of its fur!
Hope you recovered quickly from the booster jab... I never noticed a thing afterwards which, after hearing what practically everybody else experienced, has me a bit worried sometimes that the vaccine might not have done its job on me. Mmmh...
