Holly Cards

 Hello friends...

I've a couple of Christmas cards to share that I made recently. Seeing as the challenge at Stamplorations is to use a stencil, I'm sharing the two that do include a stencil (Lavinia)

I drew the holly, painted it and then fussy cut it to layer over the stenciling

And my second card

Sans the washi tape but with some gold splatters on the stenciling

I'm not sure which one I prefer... I'll share some more in my next post.

Stay well and stay safe... Even though it's compulsory to wear masks in shops now, there are so many people here who just will not comply, makes me so mad.

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Two beautiful looks with your hand drawn holly leaves Ros and such pretty gold berries, and love the gold sentiment and some lovely soft stencilling in the background, and also the super strip of washi (I'm assuming that is what it is) framed with the embossed lines on the first, so elegant. x

Two Gorgeous CAS stenciled Christmas cards, Ros. I Love your soft stenciled backgrounds and beautiful hand drawn and watercolored holly leaves and gold heat embossed sentiments. TFS and so pleased you joined us at STAMPlorations Stencil Challenge. Did you use an ARTplorations stencil? Love and Hugs...and Happy Holidays. Nancy

Love these Ros....just so beautiful. I like the one with the washi tape best I think and the stenciling is just right for that background interest..clever you! xx

Both really lovely, Ros - love that sage-y grey green you've used for your beautiful Holly - and that stencil was a wonderful choice!

These are both just BEAUTIFUL my friend! If I HAD to choose, I think I'd choose the 1st one. I like the coordinating strip under your hand drawn holly ... ties together SO WELL! Beautifully done over the stenciling!
YES, we have idiots here in USA too that will NOT comply and put all the rest of us at risk! Grrrrr!

Both cards are so very pretty and I like the subtle stencilling in the background Ros. We have been lucky in Scotland that mask wearing continued but I agree with you about non-compliance x.

What pretty holly, Ros! Your depth of color gives them wonderful dimension and the soft stenciling in the background gives them even more depth! Pretty Washi tape too! We have the same problem with masks here. I just keep mine on and give them a wide berth!

Luckily we can do most shopping on line & pick up curbside. The majority of people follow the mask mandate here, but there are always a few who think they're above it. Honestly, as my t-shirt says: Dogs make me happy, humans make my head hurt.
Anyway, holly is another image I especially love & yours is wonderful! I do love your style, Ros!

Oh my goodness, these are wonderful! Your soft stenciling is such a beautiful backdrop for your lovely holly leaves. I really like the first one with the washi tape border, very festive, and the scripty sentiment, love the font! Beautiful cards Ros!
