Christmas Wishes

 Hello friends...

I'm just popping in to wish you all a very blessed Christmas and to thank you for the lovely cards I've received.

As you may know our postal service have been taking strike action for months now and we were without  post for a long time but some arrived last week including lots from the US & Canada.

I tried to send my cards but without collections the postboxes were all full so not all of them got through. We queued for over and hour at the post office but standing for that length of time was just too much.

Anyway, for those of you who did not get a card, I will be sending some out in the New Year but they will be hand painted ones but not of the Christmas variety. I've had fun painting when I can

and using watercolour card for once... Normally I struggle with it

Many were inspired by my new wallpaper in the dining area, blue and green of course.

Hubby painted the cupboard for me and I added the paper.

Please be safe, I know the weather conditions for lots of you are horrendous.

Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

~ Ros ~

Happy Christmas to you Ros, your cards look amazing all together like that, and I can see how your new wallpaper has been your inspiration. they are fabulous. I love the look of your dining room too, and it was a wonderful idea to use the wallpaper on your dresser, perfect. I received your card last week. Thank you so much, it is stunning. Recently I have started to always post my cards at the sorting office in town as local post boxes don't seem to be emptied every day anymore, even before the strikes. It works for me because I can easily walk past it on my morning walk. I hope you have a fabulous Christmas. I am sure everyone who receives one of your beautiful water coloured cards in the new year will be completely thrilled xx

Merry Christmas a little late, my sweet friend! I love your dining room & the kitchen! Hope the cats are doing well by now. So glad you can enjoy painting & hope something can be done to help your hands. Beautiful cards! We did have an ice storm, but just stayed home & the electricity didn't go out--yay! Now it's warmer than usual & lots of rain. As long as no flooding, we can't complain. Hope my card was one that made it to you.

Hi Ros, and hope you've also had a lovely Christmas, our family enjoyed ourselves but ate too much. I love your hand painted cards and that they were inspired by your beautiful dining area... those colours are so lovely and peaceful. Your kitchen in your last post is simple wonderful too, the colour is so 'delicious' - hope you can have it all finished off soon. Beautiful cards and looking forward to seeing more in the New Year... enjoy this time too and hope things are working out with your health issues. Hugs Robyn

Ros, your collection of paintings is so lovely! Each an absolute work of art. I hope you're enjoying the watercolor paper. It should give you the freedom to create with more abandon. Your beautiful new wallpaper was truly an inspiration. So clean and fresh and soothing. I love the look of the painted cabinet with the papered fronts. It appears to be a wonderful room altogether. It is frustrating about the mail situation and I hope it works out favorably for everyone. It's good to see you here today. Please be well in 2023. Fingers crossed!

Ros, I came back to let you know I received your adorable card today -- a sweet little snowman with metallic sheen and glossy hat. I love him! Thank you!
