February

Hello lovely friends, I hope you are well.

February is already here and it's a cold one...Hubby celebrated his 81st birthday yesterday and I can hardly believe it. He's keeping well but like a lot of us, slower than we used to be. Unfortunately due to some health issues I've been having we couldn't go out to dinner for my birthday last month or his birthday yesterday but hopefully in the next few weeks things will improve.

I've a few cards to share with you today, painting has been my go to. Much of it ended up in the bin but these I was able to make into cards to send to my blog friends...

I do love seascapes, I'm sure you've noticed and I love trying to do interesting skies

Most of these are painted with the prima paints and I sometimes use paynes grey from tubes

I can't wait till April comes around and I get to spend some time by the sea...

And the last one

I still have a lot of sewing projects to share with you and I will eventually get around to photographing them.

Enjoy your day and thanks for popping by

Absolutely gorgeous Ros and I just adore them all...your skies and seas are always so alive, and I still have the card you sent me on show in a cabinet where it is protected but I can see it...such beautiful work. Sorry you couldn't go out and celebrate both or either of your birthdays but hope in a few weeks you can have a belated celebration. x

Well, hello Ros! It's a nice surprise to see you today! And with such lovely creations to share. I'm agog. No other way to put it. These little masterpieces should be framed and displayed and I hope the recipients will do just that. So beautiful! I hope you'll be able to get out and celebrate (quietly) soon. Sending hugs!

These are all beautiful. Some of your best yet, I think. So sorry the health issues are continuing, but I am glad you are finding space to paint these amazing pictures. Happy belated birthday to your hubby xx

Each one of these is absolutely beautiful Ros! Your seascapes have always delighted me, and your painting of the skies and the sun glinting off the water is soooooo pretty!! These are all frame worthy my friend! I hope you're feeling better soon and get that opportunity to go out for dinner...nothing like a lovely dinner that you don't have to cook! Take care my friend. Hugs. :0)

So glad I came here before calling it a night! Your paintings - as usual - are breathtaking! I hope you will both be in good shape soon to celebrate together... and eny you that trip to the sea in April already!

Hi Ros, I'm so glad to see you have a post. It has been a very long time for me to do any blog posting, but I haven't even kept up with many of my blogs as far as commenting. I've went back and read the last few blog posts you made. So glad you are still painting, these are absolutely masterpieces - so worthy of framing! I hope you and hubby get out soon to celebrate. Congrats on your Silver Anniversary in January, as well as a Happy Belated Birthday my friend. Keep well! Sending Hugs,

A BIG HUG is coming your way Ros... I've just reread your last 4 blog posts and am so very pleased you're finding time and are able to keep up your lovely paintings and then to share them with us... please do continue. I'm so thankful that you're feeling a bit better after all your medical problems, I hope you're keeping comfortable and I see that you're enjoying your sewing too.... gorgeous frocks and that will be wonderful for you and hubby to get away for a break and some celebrations... all the very best. AND a big thank you for my lovely Christmas card I am honoured to have a number of your fabulous paintings... you're very talented - I love them. I've been a very very bad blogger and card maker for quite a while but when I do sit down to my desk - I so enjoy the creative process - I don't know why the mojo is lacking... I do suppose my crochet has taken on a big part of my creativeness. Do know that I think of you over here in OZ - I was trying to figure out how long we've known each other... way back with Our Beautiful World and Kirsty I think. Well another hug and enjoy your day, Robyn

I'm way behind, again, on blog reading. I did think of you a few weeks ago since I remember your hubby and I share our BDs. My hubby turned 80 in December and we, too, can't really believe it. Life is so short. So sorry you haven't been well. Hope you guys have a wonderful time in Majorca! Big hugs, Greta
