Hello there...
Looks like I missed out April, well it was a busy month for us with highs and lows. We did however spend 5 days on the sunny island of Majorca and it was a joy. The weather blest us and everything went well, in fact we've had wonderful weather this past week too.
I was due to see the spine consultant this week but he's taken ill and all appointments have been pushed back... I'm slowly but surely losing the sensations in the fingers of my right hand now but I keep going with sewing, painting, baking and as much as I can really.
So today I have a few painting to share with you, this is one of my favourites, it just captures peacefulness don't you think
I'm addicted to seascapes, it's where I always lean too
One of my brothers was so impressed that he asked if he could buy one, of course I painted a couple for him (free of course) but I forgot to photograph them
Sometimes I like to just let the paint flow and see where it takes me as in this next one
and I like to feature birds a lot
I guess I have a go to colour palette too but I still like to paint flowers too or add them to my seascapes
And my final one is in my teeny little art journal...

Great to see you back sharing some more of your gorgeous artwork Ros and a great idea to have a small journal to work in too. Glad you had a lovely few days in Majorca and that is a smashing photo of your and what a terrific outfit you made, and can see your sewing skills are excellent too. Sorry to hear your appointment with the spine consultant has had to be pushed back, hopefully not for too long. x
Your seascapes have always been my favorites Ros (and thank you SO much for the one you sent me...I love it and am quite thrilled to have a small collection of your paintings now!!), although I love your florals too! Also thrilled to see you've framed all your paintings in the photos as they are definitely frame worthy! Also glad to hear your vacation went so well and that the weather cooperated! We are finally seeing signs of Spring here in West Michigan after a loooooong Winter and I couldn't be more thrilled! Take care my friend and sure hope that drs appointment gets rescheduled soon! Lovely to hear from you. I am glad you are doing reasonably well. Sorry about the appointment postponement. That must have been a blow, but I hope the consultant is OK and not away for too long. Your watercolour showcase is just amazing. Everyone of your pictures is beautiful. I could get lost in that scenery very easily. It sounds like you are continuing to be very creative despite the challenges. I hope you are able to keep it up for a very long time xx
Hello, Ros! It's so wonderful to see you! Your paintings are beyond amazing! I remember when you first started ... you've truly mastered your art. Better than most anything I see in local galleries. Your seascapes are incredible. I know from what I see and what my artist mom used to tell me -- it's not easy to paint such realistic water and waves. Your florals are just as gorgeous, and ohhh what a wonderful art journal you must have. The painting you've shown is dreamy! You look absolutely lovely in the outfit made by your own hand. It's print is perfect for your surroundings. Ros, I hope you are able to alleviate your ongoing numbness issues. You've had many challenges and still do better than most. Sending hugs.
It's always wonderful to see your creations, such pretty watercolour pieces and wow your outfit is amazing. I need to buy a new sewing machine the one I had for my 12th birthday finally blew up. I can't complain it was over 50 yrs old. What lasts that long these days :)
