Watercolour Christmas Cards

Hello... How are you all?
Hubby is feeling much better and the sky is a lot brighter today
Today I have 2 more cards to share that I made last week - Painted with distress inks (as in my last post) but this time I turned them into Christmas cards

I splattered these in white paint for snow and just added a die cut deer

These are my favourite cards to make... I can do quite a few at a time... Here's another

I think I'd be happy to receive one like this too

Yesterday evening we had a beautiful sunset.. The sky looked amazing! I think I may try to emulate that in my next painted card...

I lunched with my GF's earlier this week and they all asked me to make them a pair of the wrist warmers I've been crocheting so that's kept me busy for a couple of days but I enjoy it.

I hope you have a beautiful day... Take care and thanks for popping in on me

Gosh, you did make a bunch. I'd certainly be happy with any of these. Love the snow splatters. I wish I was as good with this type of card because I admire it so much. I know your sunset cards will be amazing, too. I did another scroll through, looking at some of your other cards. All so beautiful!

Really pretty scenes with your lovely watercolour backgrounds Ros and the trees and the deer are perfect, and the spattered white paint for snow lends great atmosphere to each of the scenes. x

So happy your hubby is feeling better. I'd have to put these up near the top of my Favorites by Ros--perfection! I've been wanting to make some small painted backgrounds & now maybe I'll get them done!

Wow, your watercolored clouds are amazing, Ros! The composition of the stamped images and the black die-cut deer is so well-balanced for both cards. And the white snowfalls are absolutely beautiful!

Hi! I just found your blog and I loved your cards! Thanks for sharing them with us.

On some of them you said you used distress ink for watercolor. What kind of paper did you use? Watercolor? I would love to try and see what I can do to make a card for my hubby. Please and thank you!
