Papercrafts Star Challenges

Hi there ...
Well it still hasn't stopped raining but I managed to catch up with my GF's today for lunch which was lovely ...
I will of course show you more photos of my trip later in the week (thanks for asking) but today I have some cards to share ...
Papercraft Star are celebrating their 2nd anniversary with some fun challenges ...
Each member of the DT has set a challenge for you ... (except for me ... due to my being away) and having a little time to spare today I have completed 3 of the 4 cards ...

First up, Jan set a challenge to use embossing ...
Here's my card

I used the TH Postcard embossing folder and a gorgeous image from The House Across The Bay

Then it was Sylvia's turn to set a challenge and she asked that we make a card with a cold summer drink ...
This is my take on her clever challenge

I drank a lot of these juices whilst I was away ... Again I have used an image from THATB that cute postcard (can you tell I love postcards?) to which I added some text and that picture of the glass came from my Print shop program

You can just see that I added some glossy accents to the glass to give it that 'juicy' effect

Jinny's challenge came next and she asked that we use Cardstock and embellishments only
No patterned paper ... here's my card

I printed text from a digital file by Vinnie Pearce onto my cardstock to start then I used a freebie image from Papercraft Star which I printed twice ... cut out some of the flowers and mounted them onto the original image for some definition

and see those butterflies and buttons ... they are cut from papers from THATB

Fortunately the challenge date has been extended so I will also get to complete the last challenge set by Anitra ...which is Shabby / Vintage ... Which means that you too have plenty of time to enter any or all of the challenges for a chance to win prizes from both the DT and THATB ... we'd love to see you there.

Thanks for stopping by ... I'll be back tomorrow
Have a lovely Day

~ Ros ~

Wow- you have been busy. No moss growing under you. They're all delicious in their own right- but there's something about that little girl?.. Love your use of postcards too!

You got some amazing creation there! Bet you miss your craft room!

I noticed a change on your blog, usually I can click on the comment you left on my blog to come here, but now it says "Ros has not share her profile with you". this happened to 2 other of my blog friend too, in order to access to your blog (and theirs), I now have to key in the URL, do you have any idea what changes you make lately, and also I wonder if mine is that way as well, you never know, blogger keep changing and have new stuff.
