Can you believe this is the last challenge of September at City Crafter? Here we are already heading to October and the weather here has been so nice I'm still hanging on to the last of summer!
This week we have the talented Marina hosting our challenge with the theme

The challenge is to create a card or project using the theme sci fi, science, technology or be inspired by the collage
I have to say that this did give me a bit of a headache, but hey it's a challenge right? I tried one idea first and wasn't keen on that so in the end this is what I came up with
Does it look like a cell phone? Well that's what it's supposed to be with a photo of Autumn colours
The photo was from my printshop program and I made the phone on my silhouette

Haha... me too, I was having as much problem with this but agreed with you, I love to be challenged, that makes us get out of our comfort zone and try something we never think we could ever do. I love the result of yours!

Yep, scratching my head too on this one! You've nailed the theme Ros, very clever and very creative using your cutting machine for the phone. Beautiful colours and yes I am always up for the 'challenge' too x
You did a terrific job and I immediately recognised the cell phone. And your autumn photo is breathtaking.You are always able to create a design with interesting and beautiful details. I already want to subcribe for a cardmaking class next spring. Count me in for a few days :)

It's definitely a phone - I knew before you mentioned it! That would have been a challenge for me as well... though it seems as if creating ANYTHING is a challenge these days. One post in September speaks volumes. Anyhow, great card!
It looks exactly like a phone and is a really creative and pretty take on the challenge.

Now this is what I call a challenge!! But you mastered it perfectly..yep I new it was a cell right off...teehee...and the picture on it is much better then my real cell!
What a clever idea and I love how you have incorporated the 'phone into your design.
Well I'd say you were pretty clever with your cell phone. Sometimes I think they qualify for sci-fi. LOL
