Our Beautiful World

Hello and Happy Sunday!

Our prompt this week at

Has been chosen for us by the lovely Mandy... The prompt is
"Bricks"

This is one of my lovely fuchsia plants against my brick wall that started out so tiny a few months ago and suddenly grew so big I had to put bricks under it...

And here's another pretty plant that likes to be against the brick wall keeping company with that lovely fuchsia

In my back garden I have a brick laid area too

Which looks colourful when there's been a rainfall as in this photo ... Can you see that birdhouse stand? Ginger cat uses it as a scratch post, hence the damage!

Finally I have a shot of a very old but still used railway station in Delamere Forest ... this station opened in June 1870

The bricks you see here are actually quarry stone or sandstone and the building houses a lovely tea shop where you can get tea served in a large china pot with fresh cream cakes and various other delights. It's a favourite place for travellers and people who want to walk through the forest or just stop to take refreshments.

I wonder what you will share with us this week ... Hop on over to the Blog to see what my friends are sharing

Have a lovely day

Ros, these are lovely photos. Your garden is always amazing, every time of year. This looks like the kind of tea shop the Penmaker and I would love to visit. When we were in England years ago, that was one of our favorites... having tea and cakes in your unique shops.
Have a wonderful Sunday, dear friend!

Beautiful brick pictures, Ros! We were shocked to see that one of our neighbors just repainted their house including the bricks! That train station is amazing & wish I could meet you there for tea & cakes!

Did you grow your plant from seeds, they are lovely! I do not have green fingers, everything I grow from seed are not doing well.
What lovely photos you share this week, and with lovely story behind them too!

Your pictures are delightful Ros. I would love to be enjoying a cup of tea and a walk in the forest to relax. Things have been so hectic here lately. Always something going on with little down time. Your garden looks like a nice place for some peace and quiet too. :-)
