City Crafter 294

Hello from a very cold Liverpool!

It's time for a new challenge at City Crafter and this week we have Kirsty hosting for us with the theme
My Butterfly
Kirsty wants us to create a project that, of course, features a butterfly

I'm delighted to say that this week we have the very talented Pamellia (winner of week 287) Guesting for us ... I know most of you will know exactly who I'm talking about ... Her creations are amazing and if you've never visited her blog, you ought too... Click her name for the link!

Ok, lets get on to my card for this week ...

I made this card last year Lol! For my friends' daughter who celebrates her birthday on New Years Eve

Blending with inks on my card and for the butterfly, which was also covered in Glossy Accents and glitter
The little piece of silver netting and the leaf were in my scraps

Please take a moment to see what Pamellia and the rest of our team are sharing this week up on the City Crafter Blog

Have a beautiful day!

Such an interesting CAS design. the cat in the corner is unexpected but really works and the little bit of mesh under the butterfly is just enough.

Happy, Happy Birthday to you, my sweet friend! I saw it on Stella's blog & thought bummer--I didn't ask you soon enough to get it on my list. Anyway, I'm thinking of you today & hoping you have a warm wonderful day in spite of the cold! This is a gorgeous card & I love the little bit of netting behind the butterfly! I would just pin your whole blog if I could!

Your card is so beautiful! The soft colors and the delicate script set a tone and make a lovely card. I wish you a very happy birthday, Ros. Stella mentioned it was so and I thought to stop by and tell you I hope your day is full of joy.

Your inking is so very pretty Ros. It really makes the sentiment pop and I LOVE that piece of netting behind the butterfly.

This card is incredibly gorgeous. I love all of the elements - the soft inking of those beautiful colors, the splatters, the stark white sentiment, the little piece of netting beneath the butterfly, the vellum branch - it's swoon-worthy. Just beautiful...
