Hello... How are you?
The weather has turned today and it's very windy. Ginger cat is not happy about it...We didn't even get to see the blood moon last night it was so overcast... Secretly I'm pleased, when it's too hot it completely drains me - Today is just right, sunny but not too hot.
Today's card is one I've made for my husband's friend... They were business partners for many many years till they retired and still go to the match together
I can't believe where the years have gone and nor can he Lol!
He's has a sense of humour so I'm hoping he will like this card... Though he can be quite tetchy at times... I know because he was also my boss for many years as was my husband, who I still call boss haha!
The card is mostly ink blending with copic coloured gnomes from a Christmas set by Memory Box... They haven't been inked up in a long time and they work just as well for any occasion.

Well I hope you enjoy your weekend and it's not too hot for you ... We've been so lucky when I see the fires around the world, especially in Greece... My heart goes out to those people who lost everything including loved ones...
Take care

Fun card with great blending and loving those gnomes x Pouring down today and a bit wild!
Cute, cute, CUTE Ros...I'm sure your hubby's partner is going to love it! And beautifully colored too!! It's been a little cooler and breezy here too and I'm loving it...do NOT like the hot stuff!! Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!! :0)
I'm with you on liking the sun when it isn't blazing hot! Hopefully after tomorrow we'll have lower temps for awhile. But, can't complain with the horrible fires & flooding. I'm worried about my blogging friend in Redding, California, but so far I think it's not in her area. We used to go shopping there every year before getting on the houseboat at Shasta Lake. Unreal what's happening. How anyone can set a fire on purpose is completely beyond me & now all those people in Greece are gone or lost everything. Sometimes I do just want to put my head in the sand--hard to remember the good with so much bad. However, your card is a bright spot--so clever & cute! I'm sure he will love it! Congrats on the win at CAS WC!
Fabulous cards and clever idea using those gnomes for a birthday card...super CUTE! Great ink blending too. Our weather here has cooled off, but we could use some rain, yes the fires are devastating, I haven't watched much news lately as it is all bad it seems. My hubby lost his brother this Wednesday so we have been busy with planning his funeral, which is Monday...we had a wedding to attend yesterday....I need a break!
This is too CUTE! LOVE the gnomes and the 75 with the flames! He will get such a kick out of this!
And the fires are just so SAD! When you read the details it is just sickening.
Your friend is going to Love his fun and colorful 75th birthday card, Ros:-) TFS and enjoy the cooling wind. Hugs..
These elves are so cute Ros and love the inky background. I have been looking back over your cards and there are some real beauties including that cute octopus over at the CAS Watercolour Challenge, and I love what you do with colour and your clever use of dies and stencils too. x
Ha! I'll bet this kicked in his sense of humor! Love the two gnomes representing the two friends, and it's good that they're still friends after all those years of being business partners. We just came from a trip through some blistering desert heat, and it feels good to be back on the coast, let me tell you. Loved the trip, though. Thank goodness for air conditioning! Having a nice visit here today, Ros!
This is fun and cute, Ros! The smiling faces with white beard!!
Stunning ink blending and Copic coloring! Your husband's partner will sure love this card! Hideko xx
Your card is super cute with the gnomes! Your husband’s friend will love it I’m sure! The weather here has cooled down. We really need some rain. It is very sad about the fires in Greece and the fires on the west coast. Flooding recently on the east coast. One can only hope and pray for all those affected. Anyways, I hope you have a great week and that the weather stays cool there. Take care!
Adorable card, Ros. Both the ...boses will surely love it! Great design and so funny! Kisses, my friend.
Oh, that's too cute! He must have loved it!
The heat here is not subsiding - colleagues laugh at me for having a bucket with cold water underneath my desk... but it's the only way to make it through the afternoon. And then the trees look like October, shedding their leaves prematurely :-(
So very cute!
This is fun - I love those citrus colours and the way you did the sentiment is great.
Lol Bet he got a kick out of these little guys. I really like the bright colors you've used.
