Watercolour Challenge

Good morning all...
We have another lovely sunny day here -
I've been looking at some video clips from S.E Spain where friends of mine are visiting and the flooding is awful! My heart goes out to all the people affected.

Today I have a card for the CAS Watercolour Challenge

I was thrilled to get a top pick there last month, thank you ladies!
If you visit the blog there is a colour wheel to show you the opposites, my choice was red violet/ yellow green

I die cut the criss cross (AliExpress) and then cut out a centre from it to make a frame for the flowers (Clearly Besotted) which were painted using zigs.

The card is for a friend who has been going through a rough time... Just to let her know I'm thinking of her.

Did I tell you that my cat Missy brought me a teeny tiny mouse again the other day? Honestly it was only about an inch big. I thought it would probably die of shock but you know that boy of mine Mikey... He spent hours with it and the little guy was fine! He just did not want to go - every time he put it in the bushes it came right back to him. Eventually we managed to get it to safety.

Enjoy the rest of your week and thanks for looking in on me

Such simplicity, such beauty! Cute little sentiment and I love that twiggy die. Another mouse? I'm glad Mikey saved it. I can't remember the last time I saw a mouse. Rats live in the woods and that's why I put the bird feeders away from the house and don't keep dog water outside anymore. I don't like rats!

This is so sweet. It just makes you smile with that pretty pop of purple. So Mikey's the mouse whisperer huh. LOL They are really cute when they're that tiny, but I still don't want them around.

Gorgeous colors and beautiful card - that will certainly bring a smile to your friend's face.
All the mice I get to see here are dead and beyond saving but at least they do serve as a meal so their death wasn't completely useless. You would have loved the first time Larry brought a bird, though. It looked rather big and she put it down on the lawn to watch it. It had a dying swan kind of appearence, the head lolling back and forth as if it were about to give up the ghost any minute. Then in like a nanosecond it got all alert, rushed forwards, picked Larry violently on the nose twice and just flew off! I was as stunned as the cat; I've never seen a "show" like this.
