More Watercolours

Well you said you liked them ...Thank you!
I've got some more for you haha

When I opened the curtains this morning, I was amazed at how much greener the trees have become, seems like over night they suddenly sprouted leaves and it sure made me smile, which is good because my DH is driving me insane, seriously. This self isolation for certain age groups is NOT going down well in this household, especially as there is no sport to watch on TV - I may just end up on a charge if this continues...

So anyway, on to today's share before I am arrested

A little bit of pink blossom - Sort of...

Isn't it lovely to see the blossom coming out, even though the rain continues to fall here
This also fit the challenge over at Double D Challenges

Then an attempt at wisteria and purple flowers

Am I getting better at it? Not really... Am I enjoying myself - Immensely! I just need to get a lock on the craft room door Lol!
Honestly if you have any ideas on how to restrict DH from going out 3/4 times a day (for no other reason than boredom) let me know. I've exhausted every avenue short of asking Boris to house him for the next few months.

Take care my friends... I'm trying to

Find him a job to do round the house/garden? or get him helping in the craft room/ or not! I adore these pretty watercolours Ros and I am so envious of your talent. All I said on your last post stands and I take my hat off to you(but I am not wearing one)..lol . At least isolating at home we have our belongings and items around us, it must be awful in a cruise ship cabin/hotel room. Keep cheering us with your beautiful art Please. Hugs xx

GASP! Ros, these are AMAZING!, and yes you are getting better! I am just swooning here. Love both, but the second one is my favourite with the wisteria. Love the little fence too. Thanks for inspiring me today, really needed to see your cheerful pretty cards, as they just released our first COVID-19 person in our community. I'm sure there are more out there but no test kits available. Anyway, thanks again, keep safe! Hugs,

Beautiful cards Ros. They look like tiny pieces of art. I love the soft colors and the acetate frame of the first one. Take care too.

Oh, my gosh!!! I don't know how you do it, but these are fantastically beautiful! Wowie wow! I'll love seeing more anytime, sigh... Some guys just have to be on the go. Rich stays busy or entertains himself or we go for our walks. We can also go for drives and stop at pretty outdoor places with no people around. It's working out nicely. That's what we get for living in a smallish town with not much to do here anyway.

Both gorgeous Ros. Those paints you are using are just the prettiest colours and I love the way you have the first framed with acetate, and then the wisteria and purply pink flowers on the second look wonderful with the picket fence and gate and the WOW is a fab look. Sorry your DH is not finding it easy. I think that as it stands at present it is fine to go out in the car, to go for a walk, or when the weather is better to sit out somewhere as long as there are not too many other people around. I cannot imagine having to be in all the time, hopefully it won't come to that, and fresh air is good. Take care. x

Both beautiful, Ros--you're a natural! My hubby is doing OK, so far. I send him to the post office (outside box) every couple days to mail a card. We're still doing some take out, so he does that errand. Can't imagine this for 3-4 months, so just try not to think about it. So glad our neighborhood is quiet & I can walk Fritz without getting near anyone.

Oh my friend these are both just GORGEOUS and I love both designs ... you are SO talented!!! Lucky for me, my husband is a loner and has no problem with staying inside reading his computer news stories in the a.m. and auto books on his kindle when there's nothing else on TV. So, it's pretty much statusquo at my house. I'M the one ansie to get out but doing as told, I'm just spending more time in my cave crafting and that's not a bad thing! Now I'm inspired to do more coloring since I have PLENTY of time to allot. LOL Stay safe & healthy!!
Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Spring’ challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

Hi Ros! Your cards are so beautiful! I love the acetate windows on them. The flowers are amazing and I love the colors that you've used. It's so nice to see your gorgeous creations! Thanks for joining the Double D, "Spring" Challenge.

Your flowers today are just as beautiful as the ones you posted yesterday, my friend! What a breath of delight! I have the same problem with my husband going out. I hope he's not bringing anything home. He thinks he's being careful. I think he's being careless. Too bad we can't house them together and just play with cards to our heart's content and not worry about what's outside our door and maybe coming in.

Ros, thanks so much for sharing more of your lovely paintings … flowers are just what we all need during this stressful time!
I know it's rainy, but maybe he could just go for a walk - three or four times a day?

Oh, my goodness!! More gorgeous cards from you, Ros...just fabulous!! So pretty are your flowers on your lovely cards!! I'm sure I'd be in the same boat if my husband wasn't working right now. I'll soon get some of the same I'm sure once he retires in July. I retired early and have very much enjoyed these past five years of peace and quiet, lol! I'm just happy that it's not winter and we can go out and enjoy a walk. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful art with us, Ros! Take care, stay safe and well! Hugs!!

If YOU think of a way to keep your DH in the house then let ME know! Mine still thinks we are getting on an airplane April 16 for my birthday trip to the Caribbean!

LOVE your cards! You are getting so AMAZING! LOVE them both - the suspended one and the purple with the fence! So beautiful!

These 2 are just as pretty as yesterdays cards Ros! They are both totally making me smile and thinking Spring really will be coming soon! Sorry about DH and wish I had a good answer for you...mine's still working but once he comes home all he wants to do is talk about the news and it's already wearing on my nerves, so I certainly don't need to rehash it over and over and over and over again!! Do you think they'd let us have our craft supplies in the cells????? Hang in there my friend!! Hugs. :0)

Wow, you are a master of these paintings of yours, I know I have said it before but they belong in frames...seriously!! So dreamy beautiful!! We don't have any green here yet, but next week to warm slightly up, so I can only hope! My hubby loves to socialize too, but he is 'trying' to keep himself busy and he has his own man cave in his garage with a wood stove, recliners, fridge of beer and a TV (and 4 kitties) so that helps A LOT!!
I am wondering if and when this will all end, all I know is we all want our lives back! Take care my friend and thank you for entering your gorgeous card at Double D!!

More wonderful watercolors - I'm in awe! Do you do the self-isolation thing only for certain age groups? Here it's for everybody and I, being single, am enjoying it once the work day is over as I hate to be in calls ALL DAY EVERY DAY now. So it appears DH does not have a hobby.... how about puzzles? LEGO? Seriously, I have ordered a couple of sets for myself ;-)

Oh these are amazing - so skillful! Yes, my dear partner doesn't quite get the bit about leaving the house for shopping as little as possible - he is always going off, for 'urgent food items' (aka chocolate Hobnobs) and I have threatened to make a citizen's arrest. Luckily he now seems to have got the message. Him, me and my son are all working/ studying (GCSE in X-Box Studies)at home now and thank goodness we have a big enough house to each have our own space.....
