Hi there...
I don't think I've ever entered a challenge at CAS(E) This Sketch
But when I visited my friend Michele's blog, I was taken by this sketch...
So I challenged myself to come up with something using my pencil and paints (along with a few dies a stamp and embossing powder)
Here's what I came up with
I sketched some flowers which I painted with Prima Confection and cut the shape with a border die. The butterfly and the smaller shape (also cut with the same border die) were both painted with Gansai Tambi gold paint. It's still pretty dull here but if I turn my card to the light...
You can see how shiny it is. I guess I could have cut the main shape a little better but hey ho...
I hope you are enjoying your weekend... If only the sun would shine and the wind would drop I could get out into the garden for a while - I live in hope
Take care and thanks so much for your visit

Ros what a perfect interpretation of the sketch. Your card is so unique, creative, beautiful and so very pretty x.
I enjoy Michele's blog posts too and her clever way of interpreting sketches x.
No sunshine up here either...x
Oh so beautiful Ros! Your painted flowers are so pretty as is the completed card.
Your interpretation of this sketch is spot on! Love the bit of gold paint as well.
We had some much needed rain through the night, literally downpours, but a bit cooler today and breezy! If I could send the sun your way I would. Take care my friend, hugs,
Oh my...what a FABULOUS interpretation of the sketch Ros! Absolutely LOVE it!! Your beautiful blooms and all that shiny gold...a stunning combination my friend! Hugs. :0)
Wow you've made a beautiful card using this sketch Ros. Gorgeous sketched and painted flowers, very creative in every way.
Greetings Miranda
Beautiful Ros, great take on the sketch and love your hand drawn flowers :)
A beautifully designed card and you certainly nailed the sketch. (this card would fit our challenge at Double D too (stitches). Very windy here which has the lake roaring it's head off the last 2 days, wish it would calm down as my son is here and had planned on kayaking, but too rough for that, it started the day he came and he leaves today darn it!! But good and fun news is he got engaged while he was here on the lake!!
Oh Ros, your visitors are going to be so disappointed with my rendition of our Sketch after seeing your lovely version!! lol
As pretty as any little garden can be - and look! one of my favorite winged-things as well!
I hope your first time's the charm - as it sure is a charmer! Thanks so very much for playing cards at CTS!
