Little Birds

Hello again...Are you well?
Today we were expecting sunshine and 25C Temperatures, well I can assure you it's far from that here, maybe later it will brighten up.

As well as trying to get to grips with this new blogger system, I've been using up some watercolour scraps. The little bird stamps (an old set by Winnie & Walter) were just the right size

Sometimes when I have no inspiration I stamp, emboss and paint leaves which always get used one way or another

They're a bit of a motley crew these little guys but they make me smile

Especially these chubby little ones

Which reminds me, our government is now asking us to lose weight and get fit in an attempt to help our chances of survival should we contract the virus. I guess I need to put on some disco music and do a few twirls...

Have yourselves a lovely day

Oh I love these plump little birdies, so cute and the leaves are so pretty too! I have to laugh at the disco comment, take videos LOL! Our weather has been kind of nice this week, not as humid as it was last week. We are traveling home tomorrow for about 3 days then back here for a month again, hoping to bring my stencils and maybe some watercolors and stamps. Have a great day my friend!

Your bird cards are so adorable Ros. LOVE the sweet faces on the first card. Looks like they want to ask a question. :) And the second is just adorable with those chubby birds. Great way to use up watercolour paper scraps. I which my scraps turned out like yours. :) Hope the weather does warm up and you finally get some summer weather. Take care and stay safe. xx

Oh Ros these are just adorable! LOVE these little birds and the different ways you've used them! What a great idea to make vines, etc when you're not really in the mood for full card making (I'll have to remember that!) I too got a chuckle when I read that you folks are now being requested to lose weight to help in the fight against the virus ... is that disco music I hear in the background? LOL Take care my friend and thanks once again for wonderful inspiration!

Those little chubby birds look just like our newest brood of bluebirds, Ros! LOve them all - and am a sucker for a beautiful leafy die cut! Yours are gorgeous, embossed in gold!

These are ADORABLE and so well done! Did you 'fussy-cut' them? You did a terrific job, if so! Those branches and leaves would have been HARD! Love them!♥

Love, love, love these sweet little birds tucked among the leaves! They remind me of all those fledglings flitting around in the branches and begging for food. Sweet, sweet cards, my friend! Be careful with those twirls now!

Those little birds are just darling! They're so plump I have to imagine they're still babies. So cute! Your leaves on these cards and the previous post look like stained glass. Absolutely gorgeous! Good luck with the disco twirls!

Oh I love your little birdies & branches, Ros! I went back to the old blogger. Hope I read that right--we'll have both choices? At least your government is giving good advice rather than ignoring the facts! Such a devastating year.

Those must be the sweetest birds ever! They really make me smile... and think of the bird that Larry brought in earlier tonight which I was lucky enough to catch and set free again. That cat is a real hunter, less than 30 minutes later, she brought a mouse... never a dull moment here.
