Hello Friends... I hope you are all well
Yesterday was a friends' birthday and whilst I would normally be round at her house enjoying a chat, this year of course I could only stand at her gate. Still it was better than nothing, and I got to visit the Chiropodist... Busy week huh?
Here's the card I made for my friend
The card I made in my previous post had my own sketched bunny but this little bunny is a digital, the branch is a stamp from Inkylicious and the stencils are from Lavinia
There are a few celebrations this week - My brother Ron celebrates his Golden Wedding anniversary and my brother Rick has a birthday, so whilst I had the stencils and stamps out, I also made the Anniversary card in a similar vein
...because I know they will like this and honestly? I didn't have any other ideas Lol!
The stickles give it lots of sparkle as well as the stamped stars which are embossed with a glitter embossing powder
Ricks card was a little different...No bunny I promise. I'll share it in my next post.
The mass testing here seems to be going well, the army are doing a fabulous job, though it does not include our household. Whilst we live in Liverpool, the boundaries are a little different and we come under a different council which as yet isn't included. So far over 200 hundred people who thought they were fine, no symptoms at all, were found to have the virus. Unfortunately like lots of other places we have our fair share on non believers in both the virus and the quarantine measures so the light at the end of the tunnel keeps flickering.
Stay safe and well my friends, thanks so much for keeping me going all this time, your friendship is really appreciated
Till next time

What a beautiful card for your friend Ros and I am glad you managed to see her, even though it was at the gate x. Fabulous 50th anniversary card too and loving these Eileen inspired backgrounds x.
Thinking of you and the mass testing and surprised you where outside the testing area x. Keep well and safe Ros x.
I adore these cards, Ros! The bunny scenes are sweet for either occasion. Love how the heart with "50" appears almost as an apparition. I know what you mean about the light flickering. How will we ever make things safe for everyone without total cooperation?
Two more beautiful cards. I think what makes these so unique is all your elements you put into your cards, the stenciling, drawings, stamped images and your special touch! You know I've been watching the Lavinia you tube videos along with Eileen Goodwin's videos, oh my goodness, I've placed an order for some of the stencils and stamps, so much more I want (or should I say need - lol). So glad you got to see your friend on her birthday, even though it was at the gate. I think it is going to be a very long winter with Covid, so many new cases popping up in the larger cities over here, people just aren't following all the rules. I'm happy to be in my town where the numbers are very low, hope it stays that way. Stay safe and well Ros. Again keep creating, you inspire me so!
Two gorgeous cards Ros and the single bunny on the birthday card and the two together, love the slightly smaller size for perspective, on the 50th anniversary, and the pretty background stencilling on both with the different types of wonderful foliage, and of course the gold glittery balloon for the birthday and the heart on the anniversary with the shadow round it giving it shape, and the gold numbers and sparkly stars and blue stickles are perfect. Your designs are always so individual and cleverly thought out. x
your little bunnies are so sweet, love the lightly stenciled background :)
Two beautiful cards Ros. I love your combination of stamping, stenciling, and die-cuts to make a fabuous birthday card for your friend. It's nice that you got to visit a little with her, even though at a distance. I'm sure your visit and card made her birthday special.
Gorgeous card for your brother and SIL's 50th anniversary! Congrats to them!! More of the sweet bunnies and wonderful Lavinia stencils. The gold heart with stars and stitched 50 is so pretty! What a wonderful card to celebrate their milestone anniversary! xx
Beautiful cards, Ros! I love how you used your design elements for both of the occasions. Your artistry is phenomenal! We're not doing mass testing here, but I had part of my thyroid removed last week so I got a Covid test (it was negative) - funny the lengths we'll go to get tested (just kidding)!
Wonderfully unique cards, as always, my friend! I really love the gold balloon! The light is indeed flickering! Wow--that study is so telling!
Two gorgeous and very creative cards, Ros. Your friend, brother and sister-in-law will treasure their cards. Your friendship and love shine thru each creation. Stay safe and creative, my friend. Love and Hugs...Nancy
What cute cards! I caught myself thinking that bunnies - in my mind - are always about Easter, how ridiculous is that?? Fingers crossed for the light at the end of the tunnel to flicker less and less...
Beautiful cards, Ros! Wonderful stenciling and love the adorable bunnies! Such a lovely gold balloon and a creative sweet way to incorporate the number 50 on the anniversary card! Take care and stay safe, hugs!!
Two absolutely BEAUTIFUL cards Ros and I'm totally in love with how you combine whimsy and elegance to make such phenomenal cards! Your silhouetted bunnies fit right in with all the lovely stenciling, stamping and gold...LOVE them both! And so glad you got to have a little birthday chat with your friend...I'm sure that brightened up both your days!! And congrats to your brother and SIL...what a milestone anniversary!! Things are getting pretty nasty here with this virus and my hubby works at the hospital, so that makes me pretty nervous, but hopefully we'll be ok with all the safety precautions we're taking. One day at a time... Take care my friend!! Hugs. :0)
Love these sweet bunnies, Ros! The stenciling makes such and interesting background and the branches complete the sweet scenes! Love the heart with the stars and glitter for an anniversary card! Can't wait to see Rick's card!
