CAS Mix Up

Hello and welcome to a brand new week, just another one in lockdown for us.

I'm kinda getting used to lazy days, no pressure about having to be here or there or unexpected visitors turning up before my first cup of coffee...Lol!

I've had cause to make a few cards for upcoming celebrations these past few days but today's card is just for fun and the new challenge at the CAS Mix Up where the lovely Bonnie is hosting

The 'off the edge' deer is a very old stamp and the rest I sketched

I did a little bit of stenciling at the bottom of the card for the ground beneath the bunny but other than that, everything is painted with Prima watercolours

The sentiment is from an old Christmas stamp set by WPlus 9 - It was just right for the scene. I was originally going to make a Christmas card but it took another route and I'm happy with the result.

Have a lovely day and I'll catch up with you all soon

Be safe

How adorable Ros, and love the stamped deer with your own beautiful drawn and painted bunny and flower pot, and the little bit of stencilling grounds the bunny and flower pot perfectly. x

Awww, this is so sweet and adorable and your bunny is as perfect as any stamp, or more so! This touches my heart. It's possible for us to get along despite our differences.

What a cute image! I know what you mean about the lazy days, even though they are not really lazy here... but Larry certainly enjoys having me around to cuddle whenever she feels the need (at least that is what she thinks is possible now...)

How can anyone be angry with the bunny stealing your plants leaves when it is being so thoughtful, feeding the hungry fawn:-) TFS your sweet off the edge watercolored card and joining our CAS Mix Up Off the Edge Challenge. Love and Hugs...Nancy

Amazing how you combine stamps, stencils & sketching! Love this sweet scene, Ros! We should be in lockdown, but too many in the US consider just requiring a mask in public to be a violation of their rights! A new level of selfishness & stupidity in this country has come to light thanks to the uncontrolled pandemic. What a contrast to "the greatest generation" who gave their lives for their country & their fellow man. Wondering if I should even be going to PT for my shoulder--may cancel the rest of my appointments. Sending love & hugs, Greta

Ros, your sketches are so good that I can't tell which image was stamped and which was sketched until I read your blog! The deer and the rabbit are soo adorable! Love how you framed the pretty scene too.
