Two Little Girls

Hello there! I hope you are well and staying warm...

We've had some snow, nothing that stays around for long but it's cold! I go out throughout the day to feed the birds and it's a feeding frenzy. This year I haven't seen any holly berries at all, even on my occasional trips out. I had plenty berries on my Firethorn shrub but most of those have now disappeared so I guess the little guys are hungry.

If you read my last post I said I'd share the paintings of the girls and here they are

This is the younger of the two and like me she loves to feed the birds

Whilst her older sister likes a late afternoon stroll with the puppy

Spring looks a long way off right now but to a child snow is always magical...

..And in a few months those trees are going to burst into life once more.

Have a lovely day, stay safe and thanks so much for popping in

Oh Ros...the magic continues and you have totally made me smile this morning!! Both of your girls in their Winter capes and your snowy scenes are BEAUTIFUL! It's snowing here this morning and looks very similar to your paintings...and lots of birds, squirrels, and wild turkeys in our front yard having a feeding frenzy too! Hope you have a great week my friend!! Hugs. :0)

Both cards are adorable, we have just gotten our first snow (or sleet at the moment). It won't stay around long :)
Stay warm and safe hugs Christine xx

Enchanting! Your girls are the sweetest in their winter capes, a pretty Robin and darling pup for companions. Love how your tree branches and grasses frame them. You've told a lovely story in these last two posts, Ros.

So sweet and beautiful!! Love the bright red cape and darling bird on your first card! Pretty blue cape on the girl for your second card! Wonderful snowing backgrounds, too! We are due for a mix of snow and ice here today and tomorrow. I need to scoot to the store before going out I to the mess, lol! Have a great week, hugs!

Oh my friend you are so artistic and I love the stories that go with your paintings ... precious! You've made my day with these cuties! We are expecting a snow storm over night so I'd better get out there and fill my feeders too. Thanks for beautiful inspiration (as always) ... stay safe, warm & healthy! Hugs

Both the little girl & a bird card and the older sister & a dog card are so sweet, Ros! Your free-hand sketching and painting is simply amazing! The colors of the backgrounds (skies) and the snow are so atmospheric!

Oh my gosh! These are both so adorable! I LOVE your winter scenes with the little girls and their "friends" that are going along for the stroll. The first one looks like little red riding hood with your bright coat! The bird on the branch is just waiting for her to arrive. And your second card is darling with the pup along for the walk. Amazing work Ros!! xx

Eep! Ros, these little girls are just divine in their little capes and boots! Even though we can't see their faces, we just know they are wide-eyed and smiling from ear-to-ear at the magic of the fresh falling snow! The little bird, the puppy, and the rest of the scenes are all brilliant! Bless you for feeding the little birds in your own backyard! Hugs, Darnell

Oh Ros these cards are just so special...how gorgeous are your little caped girls.... I had a red cape with fur around the neck as a small girl, brings back memories - beautiful paintings and you've captured the soft snow just right, stay safe and Hugs Robyn
