Going Quackers

Hello friends... I don't know about you but I'm so over winter

I am becoming obsessed with ducks, who knows why, but I'm sharing two more cards today...

Little Elinor (Ellie) has a birthday and brother Marlon has been busy putting up the banners. He likes to think he's a cool dude, though I'm not so sure he should have written on the wall

But this is actually going to be my hubby birthday card so it's fine

And of course I had to share Ellie with you, I mean she is so cute

She's hoping to get a fairy dress for her birthday... I hope her wish is granted

I've not come to the end of my obsession yet so you may be seeing more of the feathered family in the future.

Have a super day, stay warm, stay safe and thanks so much for your visit.

So so cute Ros and I love the story you weave around each one and both cards beautifully drawn and coloured. I especially love the stencilling in the background of the second with cute little Ellie, mind you Marlon does look a bit of a cool dude with his sideways hat and boots. Presumably your hubby doesn't look on here but I hope he has a lovely birthday when it arrives..soon I'm assuming. x

Too cute for words - maybe Ellie could get some pretty shoes to go with her dress.

Such cute Friends you have created, Ros...love them both! We all know husbands so I am sure he will enjoy a good laugh with writing on the wall! Spring is relative here. One day we are warm and moderate at night, the next it is frigid cold...so I am not sure if Spring is going to be hot and hotter. I will take it like it is now so as not too be complaining about the heat. Here's to a brighter sunny warm day for you though! Hugs as well...

I hope your obsession doesn't end soon, Ros! Just love both of these sweet creatures! I know hubby will love his card! It definitely made me smile! We have some flowers blooming in the neighborhood, but there's also snow in the forecast! Actually, hope we do get a few inches as I love seeing the world look clean & peaceful. Sending hugs, Greta

Keep em coming Ros...I totally enjoy seeing your whimsical creations! These two are quite the pair and I just love everything from their sweaters and caps, the boots and Ellie's bowed legs, their expressions, and of course the wonderful backgrounds!! You should be illustrating children's books with these paintings...LOVE them both!! Hugs. (and yes, I am so over Winter too...have had about a foot and a half of new snow over the past few days with more in the forecast every day for the next 2 weeks! And then the frigid cold...brrrrrr!!)

Cool Dude...Marlon is looking very pleased with his surprise birthday banner for his sis! I am sure Ellie is going to be thrilled with her birthday party, especially if she gets to be all dolled up like a pretty princess!!! Both cards are so cute, creative and clever, Ros. Keep making us smile...no matter what the weather:-) Love and Hugs...Nancy

Your husband will love the card I’m sure! And, I’m with you for winter to be done! It’s been terribly cold here. But, a highlight this morning was seeing a pair of cardinals that were so pretty with the snow covered ground!
