More Shakers and New Baby

 Hello... How are you?

I've a couple more shaker cards to share today... They use up some bits and pieces I have around not to mention some of the hundreds of sequins I have collected

The first one here has a stenciled background and hand painted roses in the shaker frame

I wasn't too enamoured by the roses but they look fine as a shaker background and they didn't go to waste

The second one is also a painting I did of a cocktail in a glass... it was based on a birthday card I got this year but my version really looks better as a shaker Lol!

The butterfly and the dragon fly were stamped and the acetate "party" sign was one of a few different ones that a blog friend sent me years ago.. I knew this last one would find a home somewhere

The only thing with photographing acetate is that the camera picks up little marks that are invisible to the eye - See the tiny black specks?

Finally.... Esmeralda and Eugene have a little daughter, Tilly

I knew you would want to know and see how sweet she is

Of course her grandparents spoil her rotten and she's the apple of her Daddy's eye

Have a wonderful weekend my friends....

Till soon

~ Ros ~

Oh my goodness--the last card is just so adorable! I really love how you paint the ducks, Ros! The shakers are wonderful, too! Love the frame for the first one & the second is so creative & fun! Hope you're well & enjoy the weekend! Our summer weather is gone for a few days, but we need rain desperately to help decrease the fire chances. I'm happy inside making cards, but it's bad timing for my lilacs that are just opening. Sending hugs, Greta

OMG, your roses are gorgeous! I'd be thrilled with them, so soft and watercolory. Love your party card with the fun sequins and winged critters looking for a sip of sweetness from your cocktail. Lastly, I "awwwed" out loud at Esmeralda and Eugene's little Tilly. She looks adorable and very realistic being tugged along by Mom when she'd really like to stop and look at everything. Such a fun visit today, Ros!

Love your soft stenciling on both your fun and colorful birthday shaker cards, Ros. Great way to us some of your pretty sequins. I was almost jumping up and down with joy to meet sweet adorable Tilly:-) Esmeralda looks like such a caring proud mommy and I can just imagine how Eugene is totally smitten by his pretty little girl:-) Of course the grandparents are thrilled too. Can't wait to see more photos of the happy family. TFS my friend. Love and Hugs...Nancy

Two gorgeous shaker cards, Ros! I love the rose background all framed so pretty and the stenciled background is awesome! Your second card is like a party in itself! The black speckles blend right in and look like they belong! Love little Tilly! She is so adorable and I think takes after her beautiful momma!

Hi, Ros its an absolute age since I passed by and I'm so glad I did. What adorable cards, your painting is so beautiful and delicate and I adore the frame on the first plus the gorgeous stenciled background. I use a lot of acetate on my cards and I feel your pain, trying to photograph them is a nightmare but tbh I couldn't see those black specs you mentioned.

Tilly is so cute and the whole card is just so pretty, looks like an illustration from a children's book.
Hope all is well with you and yours.

And little Tilly couldn't be any sweeter in your 3rd card...I can just imagine how delighted her parents and grandparents are with her arrival! Hugs. :0)

Both shaker cards are fabulous, Ros! I especially love the hand painted rose one. It’s so elegant and beautiful, and the colors of the stenciled background, the rose panel, and the sequins are well coordinated. And the way you used the frame die-cuts to create a wider frame is creative.
Little Tilly is just super sweet! I’m happy to see her, and I would spoil her rotten if I was her grandma too! :-)
