The Gull is Back

 Hi there...

I bet you thought you'd never see me playing with the Gull stamps again (MFT)... I had a blast when I first got them. Since then I've had a real purge of my craft stuff, but the gulls are definitely still one of 'My Favourite Things'

They came in handy for the birthday card I'm sharing today... As you may remember, we lost 2 of our Cornish cousins last year (brother and sister) but we still have Peter, the baby of the family and he's about to celebrate his 60th birthday.

As he happens to be captain of the ship sailing between Cornwall and the Scilly Isles, the gull seemed the most appropriate

The frames aren't wonky - It's actually a window card (acetate free)

I like making this style and I'm sure he will love it

How are you all doing?  Heck the weather is crazy, from sunshine to snow. Stay well and safe and have a great day

Till soon

~ Ros ~

What a cute seagull image and background scene Ros and love the framed window through to the inside of the card with that super sentiment. Unfortunately gulls have been know to pinch much more than just one chip..lol. I love the ballons and a great sentiment and number to finish. How interesting that he skippers the Cornwall to Scilly Isles ship. x

OMG how fun to see Mr. Gull again! I'm sure your cousin will LOVE receiving this VERY special birthday card! LOVE your design ... you're so dang clever (will have to keep this style in mind).
Weather here in Ohio has been GLORIOUS this week (upper 70s / low 80s) more like summer temps vs Spring but I'll take em! LOL We got lots done outside each afternoon but now there's a cold front coming in so we'll be back to more normal (50s-60s) this coming week with rain. But my mower is all maintained and ready for the season and I actually mowed the lawn on Tuesday so 'bring on the rain!' LOL
Wishing you a FABULOUS weekend ahead and thanks once again for ALWAYS inspiring me. I just love visiting your blog! HUGS from OHIO, USA

I always loved these gulls and glad you saved them. This very fun and cute card is perfect for your seafaring cousin. We've had snow in April before, but this year it's mostly sunshine with a chilly breeze. It's making the leaves and flowers come out from hiding!

I love these gulls Ros, they just make me smile, so whimsical! I'm sure Peter will love this. They make for a fun masculine card. Love your distant hills/ mountains lightly sponged and your complete layout, such a cool window card! Weather has been beautiful here this past week, lost of sunshine a day or so of rain, but temperatures in the 60' & 70's. This coming week back down to low 50's with a bit of rain and sunshine mix for the week. I've been doing lots of yardwork this weekend. Thanks for sharing Ros, love when you create!
