Drawn Flowers

Hello there...

What a weekend it's been... The weather has been rubbish with more rain than we can handle and pretty cool too. On the upside, we had a visit from Ian's middle son on Saturday and his eldest on Sunday. It's been a long time and it was good to catch up.

I spent sometime just playing with distress inks, water and a few bits

This might not look much, a drawn flower on ink blended card which I bleached with water, but turn it to the light and it sparkles beautifully courtesy of my favourite gelly roll pen

Sparkle is hard to capture but on a dull day it's even harder.

Another drawn flower, this time painted with Distress Inks and a few bits added

These cards are always handy to have as they can be used for a number of occasions and they use up all those little bits and pieces I hate to part with.

Following my last posting, thank you all for your kind wishes - I managed to speak with a GP and my meds have been increased so my legs are not keeping me awake at night ...So far.

I hope you are all well and getting back to some sort of normality.
Thanks for stopping by - Wishing you a happy day

~ Ros ~

I so love how you add the 'bits' to your fabulous cards Ros. Both cards are creative, unique and beautiful x. Always good to catch up with family and so glad that you finally managed to speak to the GP ... Sending hugs x.

Love your drawn flowers, Ros, and the bits of interest you add to them with gold, that fun die cut, and the scripty background stamping on the first!
Glad the grands came to visit - normalcy may look very different after the last year!

Happy to hear that you and your husband were able to catch up some with family! And, I hope your legs continue to do better! Your cards are lovely with the beautiful flowers and bits added. It is great to have extra cards on hand when needed. The weather here has been quite warm although it is more bearable for us since we are only five miles from the lake, so it’s a tad cooler. We’ve enjoyed more walks and bike rides recently. Take care, hugs!!

Both these are simply wonderfull, I love all the little details you have added and can imagine the sparkle on the first one. I love using those sparkle pens too. I am also glad that your restless leg issue has improved. There is nothing worse than being unable to sleep, it effects everything xx

Two fabulous cards Ros. Love the tone-on-tone with your first card ... love to see the sparkle, it adds so much! Second card is so fun and happy with the bright orange flower and the awesome die-cut squares. Happy to hear that you are feeling better ... and that you were able to spend some time with your loved ones. Life is slowly getting back to normal. xx

Beautiful floral cards! The colors are so pretty! I use a product form Bath and Body when my legs start flaring up or getting restless, it is one of their energy lotions Orange and Ginger, works for me though with my weight loss and diet change I don't have the restless legs much anymore!

Ros, I don't know how you come up with these beautiful drawings, but I love it when you do. These are the prettiest cards, so clean and fresh. It's always nice to use up those spare parts. I try, but then I keep making more!

Ros, both cards are beautiful! Your floral drawings are very unique, love them both, but the second one caught my eye. Maybe it's the colour or maybe just the unique design. You are so good at keeping and using those little bits you collect, but it always adds great interest to your cards! So glad to hear your legs are doing much better and you are getting your rest! Take care, hugs,

What lovely cards - and always a special treat to see what can be made of "bits and pieces"! Glad to hear that you're getting some sleep again, finger crossed the new dose will work for a good long while.
